1st visit ever to Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, Friday evening. I LOVE fried chicken so was excited to try! The cashier seemed bothered to help and wasn’t super friendly. My potatoes were mushy and not cooked all the way. The breading was soggy. The chicken was just okay. Chicken breading was very flavorful. The biscuit, however was excellent!

**Update** I’m updating my review for a couple of reasons. First, the deep fried pickles were awesome! Contrary to my original post, I went back for my kids and me. I rarely eat fast food, let alone two nights in a row, but we had to get more of those jokers. Two nights in a row they were definitely just made. For all I know this could be the delay. Second, the immediate response from the owner clearly shows he cares. I’ll go back and may have been a little harsh without knowing what circumstances they were operating under. I can’t delete my original review because the service has been slow everytime I’ve gone through, but again, this is based on me rarely hitting a fast food joint. It could be purely bad timing on my part.
Wow, not sure if dine in is any faster but the drive thru moves like a herd of turtles. All three cars behind me in line decided to pull off without their order. I’d like to say this was a one off from short staff but it’s the unfortunate standard here. If it wasn’t for my kids I wouldn’t ever eat here.

I rarely go to lees because I don’t live close to one but this past week when I went I had the most amazing biscuits I’ve honestly had, but not only that lees has some amazing professional employees and in specific Rose and Cora were very professional and super kind. They were super patient with me and got the food out as quick as possible. Therefore thank you

This was a great find for our drive to Indianapolis. Choose here to try something new. I got chicken tenders and they were super fresh and huge. This was a nice change from all the other chicken places are just making their strips smaller. Great taste and I tried their Bonzai sauce and it was delicious. I also had baked beans and they were great. My friend got their fries and chicken straps also. Nice place I would go here before going to KFC or Popeyes or any other chicken place. Great food!.

This has been by far the BEST Lee’s I have been to! I still don’t like having to pay cash… (if you know, you know) And if I have to wait a couple extra seconds to get food… I’m in! My cashier had cute purple hair! So check them out if your up this way!

Best Fried Chicken around. Love Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken. On way through Ohio to Indiana took a turn off Interstate just for this place. Service was good. Food was wonderful. Highly recommend if passing through.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to eat at a Lee’s Chicken then you need to. This location did not disappoint! Lee’s is nothing more than a fast food chicken restaurant, but the quality is a level above almost every other competitor. My wife and I both ordered chicken strips, potato wedges, a biscuit and some fried pickles. Everything was spectacular! Our meals were served hot & fresh, and we waited maybe less than four minutes for everything. Total was around $12 or so and portions were very fair.
Overall, if you’ve been to any Lee’s then you already know, but if you haven’t then I highly recommend this location. You won’t be disappointed!
