As a local Golden family, this is one of our absolute go-to spots. Their New York style pizza is hands down some of the best we’ve had … perfectly crisp crust, incredible flavor, and always consistent.
What truly makes it special for us is that our daughter gets to make her own pizza right at the table, and then they cook it for her. It turns dinner into an experience, not just a meal. She feels so proud watching it come out of the oven.
We also can’t skip the Magnolia salad … fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance to the pizza. And the service? Always prompt, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell they care about their guests.
If you’re in Golden and craving amazing pizza with a family-friendly vibe, this is it. We’ll keep coming back.
We were glad to see that the Golden spot is just as good. Fast service for a Monday afternoon and all food came out as ordered.
Wonderful experience with great taste & flavor.
The Good Dog appetizer is one of our favorite appetizers on any menu.
Their Detroit style pizza is my personal favorite.
I added a side of garlic crostini for the first time and was very happy to have an overwhelming amount of garlic & olive oil in every bite. Very happy I tried it out.
Would happily recommend to others!
We had a vegan friend and 2 gluten free friends with us and when we called to confirm dietary details the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions, giving recommendations, and just seemed to have all the answers. Everyone was very pleased with their pizza!
From the start, it was a great experience. James took excellent care of us, along with the rest of the staff. We were seated immediately, and the appetizers came out quickly. The kids absolutely loved making their own mini pizzas, which was a huge hit.
Despite the size of our group and the large order that came with it, the staff handled everything smoothly without any issues. The pizzas are generously sized (16″). We ordered three, but honestly, two would have been plenty—with leftovers. We ended up taking home about a pie and a half. The salads were fresh, crisp, and very flavorful.
The food quality was excellent across the board. The Detroit-style pizza was a standout, and the thinner New York–style was also a hit. I can’t say enough about how well they made the entire evening go—it was a fantastic dining experience.
I would highly recommend this spot for a group dinner, especially on a weekday night, which is when we visited. Weekends can get very busy, so plan ahead. Even though we stayed past closing time, the staff never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. They simply closed another section of the restaurant and allowed us to finish our meal at ease.
Highly recommend!
We still love the Denver 12th Street location when it comes to atmosphere that is more like a city pub / bar with all the Detroit Lions and Redwing paraphernalia.
We all enjoyed the Little Rose Detroit style pizza and also enjoyed the Veggie made with our choice of New York style crust.
I’ve had the normative New York style pizza in Manhattan while my sister lived in New York and in my opinion, Blue Pan has seemed to achieved a New York style crust that seems to be a hybrid between light, airy, crispy, and tender Neapolitan pizza crust and your typical thin, flexible and moist, pendant-cut New York style crust.
Five stars and highly recommended.
Called in an order for pickup around 530. Staff is as friendly as ever. Food is good. But not at the price point. My wife and I have a combined 20+ years of experience in the food service industry and coming home to 8 slices of pizzas (2 smalls) for a total of 43 dollars before tip is beyond disappointing. That’s almost 5.50 per slice. We understand the rising costs that it takes to staff, manage, and provide quality food for a business. But left disappointed and hungry. We ordered another pizza for half the price from another local spot.
Maybe it was an off night, and the staff is again great, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.
