About us Mazzios Italian Eatery It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today. That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

We are locals and this is our favorite pizza place in town. The employees are very nice and remember their customers, food is hot and fresh and not too greasy. Take out time is usually 20-25 minutes… dine-in wait is about the same. Sunday lunch buffet can get very busy and you may be waiting for food.

Didn’t even get ranch with the soggy wings. When I asked why the salad was so small the girl at the front said they don’t do it like the other mazzios. Then she wiped her nose with her hand and started rearranging the pizza on the buffet. If someone gives this dirty place a good rating they work there or have horrible standards

Everything was okay, I was just disappointed that the salad bar was missing many items. There was nothing in their spots. We asked but the girl didn’t know what was going on & said it wasn’t her job, she was the cashier.

We came in and were immediately greeted by 3 or 4 employees and told to have a seat anywhere. I was so surprised at how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Pizza and salad bar was great. This place is a must-go and eat situation. Reminded me of the old Mazzio’s/Ken’s ways of doing business. Friendly people, serving and caring. My family will come back here again.

On a road trip, stopped here to eat. We were immediately greeted and served well, the girl was running the place by herself it seemed but she was going a stellar job. And the pizza was pretty good!

There were flys inside the restaurant. The top of the table had been wiped off, but the side edges had something sticky. The service was slow and unremarkable. The food at the salad bar did not taste good to me. Although my son liked the pizza ok. But it’s been a month and he never suggested we go back. Whereas Carl’s Junior and Sonic and a few restraunts seem to be a weekly event. Mazzios just gave me a stomach ache and a memory of a few persistent flys and we paid about 25 dollars for it.
