Let’s start with me being 36 going on 37 weeks pregnant. I traveled 20 minutes out of my way to go bring my man lunch from this place. I ordered myself a Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. The little memo underneath the ‘Wraps’ Section on their menu online states “Includes Lettuce, Tomato, Oil, Cheese unless otherwise requested, except for grinders marked*”… The wrap I ordered does not have an asterisk (*) next to it. MEANING it comes with all the fixings. WHHYYYY did I open my wrap for it to literally only be Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch… The fact that I paid damn near $17 for that “wrap” is absolutely WILD. And for this to happen during Black History Month is even more wild. I’m all the way set. I WISH I took a picture for reference, but I gave it to a co-worker instead. Shameful, just shameful.

First time I came here I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was amazing. I revisited just the other day and sadly I didn’t have the same experience. It was super overly fried had a very harsh grease taste to it and very little actual chicken meat, mostly batter.

Ordered a chopped pasta salad, It was horrible!! Lots of pasta, no Gorgonzola and hardly any lettuce. I paid $17 for mostly elbow noodles. The salad dressing was tasteless. Sticking to pizza place, theirs is the best around!

The burgers aren’t anything to call home about. They definitely LACK seasoning especially for the price. Very greasy. They didn’t put the sauce for our tenders in the bag. Not mad that I didn’t leave a tip for pick up

Chicken sandwich was way overcooked I could hardly bite through it. Was like a piece of leather I wanted to bring it back but was on a tight schedule. Also got a fountain soda was super small full of ice for 4.50 like come on people it cost you maybe 30 cents to fill that little cup maybe 20. I get you gotta make money but I can’t wash down a mouth full of leather with 2 sips. The counter person was super nice and helpful I feel bad writing this little review but it is what it is..

We had an incredible meal at The Flying Hoof today! What a hdden gem. I work about 20 minutes away and I asked google for the best fried chicken near me and the Flying Hoof was at the top of the list. After looking at the menu and the prices we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, a 5-piece tender meal with mac and cheese and potato wedges, and a Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich with hot honey — and everything was absolutely phenomenal. The chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy and spiced perfrectly, the mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the hot honey added the perfect kick. We will definitely be back for more! WOW. Can’t wait to try the pizza.

Got take out with friends here last night and we loved it. The pizza was delicious and the fried chicken combo with Mac and cheese was so good! A friend got one of the sandwiches and loved it! The only thing I didn’t love was the biscuit- It wasn’t very flaky and needed more of a buttery flavor. Other than that I will definitely be back!
