If you want an upscale meal on Estero Island, visit South Beach Grille. They started us off with 4 varieties of freshly baked bread and a house vinaigrette salad or soup of the day. C had seafood chowder, I had cauliflower. They were both delicious and filling. There are daily specials which will not disappoint. We had such a great meal we visited again! Our new friend Bill took care of us on both visits. I highly recommend requesting Bill for a great dining experience. Extra touches like the jalapeno honey drizzle on the grouper or the care taken in stuffing the crab ravioli pillows with love make this our new go to on Estero Island. Full bar with drink specialties. We tasted rabbithole, eagle rare, old fashioned, Manhattan, next level, Cosmo, and Moscow mule. I could go on and on… OH! Have the homemade key lime tart for dessert! We took ours to go. So glad we did!

We almost didn’t go here and we are so glad we did! First thing I will say is make a reservation if you can! We went and the wait was going to be 45 minutes so we said never mind and left. We went to our car and called another local restaurant and the wait was going to be exactly the same so thankfully the host at South Beach Grille handed us a card and said “call if you change your mind”. So we did and it was a wonderful experience. My husband and I are here on vacation celebrating our 12 year wedding anniversary and we just wanted to go where the wind took us and not make a reservation (in case you’re reading this wondering why we didn’t make a reservation). My husband ordered the oysters to start and I ordered the roasted pear salad. My husband’s main course was the sirloin and shrimp and I had the roasted statler chicken breast. We had the creme brûlée for dessert and it had a citrus flair. Oh my goodness so divine! Highly recommend getting that for dessert!

I am writing this review to save others a trip. The good: apps, soup, salad, drinks, bread and crab legs. The bad: remaining entrees were terrible, including sides and dessert. The bad meals we had were sirloin, scallops, swordfish with lobster ravioli. None were good. Just don’t bother. Didn’t get pics of the apps which were the only good part of our meals. Pics are pretty but food was awful.

Great time, great service! Thank you Gretchen for making our rainy day get away the sunshine in our day! House salad was just the right starter. Surf and Turf was perfect. Substituted the Lobster Tail for Salmon on one of the meals. Great service, good food.

This place has been around for a long time. Very nice place to eat on Fort Myers Beach. They have some unique drink options. I got the high level it was fantastic. The ambiance was nice. The meals are pricey but are presented well and taste great.

This restaurant is too awesome for words. I’ll try to give it justice. A Super friendly staff. First, the booths benches are so comfortable. Gretchen was our server and she is Excellent. We enjoyed an Unbelievable meal. Hubby had beef tenderloin tips, I had the grilled salmon which was the best salmon I’ve ever had and I’m old! The dinner rolls were so soft. Coffee really good. And, lastly the desserts were delicious.

Food and service here is always top notch. There is a food bank to entertain the kids and even an old fashioned m&m dispenser. I loved the local fresh fish straight from the ocean here. Not too many restaurants around this part of the island but the food is always great.

By far, always one of the best meals we have at Fort Myers Beach. From appetizer, soup, salad, and Entrees just what we hoped for. Fresh and Delicious. It’s only and annual visit for us but always makes the list of places to go.

This restaurant is located in a strip center. They have a large dining area and a few outdoor tables located on the sidewalk. The bread basket had a nice variety of breads although only one was soft, warm and good. The others were cold and one was dried out. We ordered the tuna off the dinner menu and the salmon special. The tuna was spot on! It was cooked perfectly and the accompanying side of veggies and rice were delicious. The salmon special was not edible. The salmon was so overcooked it was almost like jerky. The pepper sauce on top was good and the sides also good but unfortunately all I could eat was the sides. They did apologize offered to make us a new one but we didn’t have the time to wait so they did take it off our bill.

We had a small wedding reception here in November, Brad was able to accommodate us and my party days prior to wedding. They even set a space for our cake. Thanks so much food was delish too.
