I have been here 2 times. The pizza is great. Fresh ingredients and enjoyabble dough. I ordered a small pizza whicj sje said was 6 rectangle slices but when it came I laughed at tje tiny pizza slice into 6 2 to 3 inch sqare slices. See pictures. 2 clices would equal an average piece any where else. Just very cheap or community pie. I also ordered a small drink from the girl at the bar and both times she brought a Large beer. Same bar server so she must do this often to upsell. Its not about the money to me, just the cheapness of this place. I doubt i would come here again since there are many other pizza places around with quamity pizza for a fair price. Good fellas for instance has great pizza and their small is the same price but 6 times as much pizza.

Just moved to the area and this was one of the first restaurants we went to. I had the tie dye Detroit style pizza and my wife had a BYO gluten free pie. Both were amazing! Katie was our server and she was great! We will definitely be back.

My family and I were on vacation and searching for a wood-fired pizza for supper and bonus…a place that serves Detroit style too. I checked out Google maps and found Community Pie with a search. None of their spots said wood-fired, nor did the website. I then searched Facebook pages. Nothing on the Hamilton Place page (it was new, figured it just hadn’t been mentioned) but yes on the downtown. We left the hotel and decided to go to HP as the traffic was nuts and we figured downtown would be worse.
We get there only to find out that they DO NOT had a wood-fired oven at Hamilton Place. So sad! Please make this more clear on your website and/or Google maps. We opted to stay anyway as we were already there.
We ordered a large pepperoni NY style and a large Detroit style pizza. The Detroit style pizza was 6 pieces, but really small. The cooked dough was overly chewy and the sauce was spicy. The crust crisp was OK. I was disappointed, especially when I made my family chose that restaurant since it had both NY and Detroit.
I did not have any of the NY style so I cannot comment on that. They ate it but I know they would have liked it better if it were wood-fired.
The interior of the restaurant was nice. Based on the bar and TVs I could guess that game time could be a little loud. Our server was nice.

Lia was absolute perfection! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant energy and warm welcome set the stage for an incredible night. Lia the bartender provided flawless service, staying attentive and upbeat even during the dinner rush. The pizza was a masterpiece with a perfectly charred crust and fresh, high-quality toppings that tasted amazing. It’s rare to find a spot that balances a cozy vibe with such professional, high-energy hospitality. I left with full stomach and big smile highly recommended!

That was really good pizza! I split a giant pepperoni and black olive thin crust (New York style, I believe). The pieces were gigantic, and we had to take several pieces home.
The server was attentive and we had a great time.

So do not order new York style pizza unless you like see through paper thin pizza that will barely have cheese. Not sure what happened with them this last visit but the pizza was that bad. If you go order the other style they offer it is still decent. But as for me it will be a long while before I step into the cheapest new York style pizza I have ever seen.

We stopped here with 3 young kids on the way to our hotel after an 10+ hour day on the road. It was such a great choice!
They seated us at first at a big table in the middle of the restaurant, but when we asked to squeeze into a booth, they were more than happy to accommodate even though it wasn’t how they normally seat a group of 5.
Service was awesome – in addition to our really friendly waiter, two people from management stopped by to check in during our meal. Wish I remembered names, but the folks couldn’t have been nicer.
Everything came out in a timely manner, and the pizza was delicious. The 19” NY fed 2 adults and 3 hungry kids perfectly.
We were thrilled to pay only $35 for garlic knots and a pizza – guess the pricing is all relative based on where you are normally paying for dine-in food. Sure was a better deal than what we normally get in Richmond, VA!
All in all, a refreshing experience for weary travelers. Exactly the meal we needed before we passed out in our hotel room down the road. If we ever pass through Chattanooga again, we’ll be back!
