We are in town for a wedding and decided to go across for a cold beer and some hot food. The atmosphere was nice, pictures of dogs, very roomy, however, our service was less than decent and the time it took to get our food, was nearly an hour. Food was decent however every burger at the table came out well done, one burger came out with tomato on the side even after asking for no tomato, and the fries were cold despite seeing them sitting under a warmer from our table. I would recommend this brewery if you have nothing but time, and are relaxed on your food orders, and their accuracy. 3/5 stars for this trip.

First time here, and it was a very positive experience. Staff were all polite, and our server Emily took great care of us. We’re here during the pandemic and protocols are being followed – they even have a pedal on the exterior doors so you can open them with your foot! (At least, that’s what we thought it was for, we tried it, and it worked! ) We tried the fried pickles, those were really good. I had the BBQ burger on a gluten free bun, with a side of slaw. The burger is huge. I requested light bbq sauce, which they did. It’s also got bacon, fresh greens and a beautiful tomato slice, and is smothered in luscious melted cheddar. I took most of it home. The only thing I could complain about is the kitchen seemed to be rather slow, as we waited quite a while for the pickles, and then again for our meals. The pickles were hot and freshly made so I don’t think it was our server causing the wait, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but we needed to get on the road for our 2.5 hour drive back home. I’m in the area frequently and I’d definitely try Old Boys’ Brewhouse again!

These guys have been around for a while. Infact, they have been brewing beer since before it was “cool” to do so, and before the Hipsters claimed it as their own. I have never had a bad experience here! The staff is always friendly and inviting. The beer is very good and they always seem to have something for everyone. Hell, they even have beer on tap from other brewerys in case what they make isn’t your style. The menu is innovative along with their offerings of spirits. Once, when there was a Full moon… I even saw a can of Miller 64 being served. You will want to find this little gem! I promise, you won’t regret it. You can drive here, walk here, or even bring your boat here and tie up outside. SERIOUSLY, Don’t pass this place up!

This place is so awesome! My cousin told me to come and there was a charity event. It was such a fun time! I met a bunch of really cool people and had some delicious watermelon margarita. I hear there is trivia on Tuesday nights, I plan on going for sure! This looks like the place to go this summer 🙂

A great place for drinks AND food. I was blown away by the quality of food coming out of this brewery kitchen. The place was clean, well lit, has great outdoor seating and live music (and not too loud either). At peak times you can expect a wait, but it’s worth it. I would definitely go here again for food or drinks. We had two appetizers that you wouldn’t expect from a brewery, beer battered asparagus and lobster egg rolls. As you can see in my photo, it was so good I didn’t have a chance to snap a good pic 🙂

Great selection of house-made beers. Servers are on top of it & very friendly. Huge, dog-friendly patio with a great view of the river. The 7 layer dip was SO good & its presentation is very creative. Also lots of cute dogs!

Nice atmosphere and a perfect dock along the river. We did not eat, but I tried a flight of 5 beers and honestly didn’t like any of them. I would still go back and try others later.

Fast service and decent burgers. I wouldn’t say they are great, but the patties seem to be hand made so that’s a bonus in the area. The atmosphere is unique and the view is pretty good if you sit outside.

A great space near the Grand Haven beach! It’s just far enough to get away from much of the crowds but just a quick drive away. Their beers were very unique and very delicious! We split their Cuban sandwich with onion rings. Both were amazing!
