I think the pictures speak for themselves.
The place was empty but it still took 35 minutes.
I was able to find 7 pieces of paneer in the thin gravy. Lid wasn’t put on right so it spilled everywhere, causing a huge mess.
Piece of Styrofoam was inside the gravy. And come on guys, rice is so cheap…..why skimp on the rice and only give you your customers the smallest styrofoam container of rice possible?!?
Not worth my total of around $23.00

Pure India! From the questionable outside appearance the mostly empty cases inside to the smells you are greated with when you walk through the door it takes me back to my time working in India.

While I was waiting and eating every other customer that came and went was Indian, to me this is always a good sign.

The food was spot on with flavor and portions… Right down to the small chunk of bone in my boneless chicken. I smiled so big the whole time. The Lassi was amazing too. If you have only experienced “American” Indian food you must stop here and experience this place. It is truely authentic India.

If you are American and have never traveled abroad don’t expect them to have everything on the menu available, don’t expect fully stocked fridge units, don’t expect what you get at a chain restaurant… However in trade you will get the chance to be transported to India for a short while.

The ONLY thing that is not authentic is everything was far to clean and well decorated.

I will be back…

Great food and excellent service! Everything was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I’m honestly wondering how people still eat junk fast food around here when this amazing restaurant exists! Definitely coming back!

Not fancy but a wonderful surprise in the middle of nowhere. Lamb and goat curry were both very good. Chutney too spicy ️ for me, but if you like heat, it’s perfect.

Everything was perfect! Delicious food, waitress helped us order something different than Butter Chicken. Had some lamb dish and chicken dish along with garlic naan bread. She brought us a special little spice drink each with our appetizer meat dish. Definitely gonna come back when we are out this way!

Finding an Indian restaurant in Wells, NV immediately caught my attention. While the exterior is fairly unassuming, those “hole-in-the-wall” spots often deliver the best food—and in this case, that proved true.

The food was excellent. The garlic naan was beautifully prepared and generously sized. I ordered the lamb vindaloo and requested it spicy. For most diners, the spice level would likely be just right, though I personally expected a bit more heat given the dish. That said, the flavor was outstanding and well balanced.

The interior was a pleasant surprise—clean, well maintained, and noticeably more inviting than the exterior suggests. One staff member, a light-haired woman, was friendly, attentive, and clearly helped keep things running smoothly.

Service, however, was inconsistent. When I arrived, no one was at the front counter, and it took a moment to realize there was a bell to ring. When a gentleman came out, the interaction felt brief and unwelcoming, with little communication or greeting. There may have been a language barrier, but it still came across as disengaged. After ordering and letting him know I was dining in, I was simply directed to the seating area.

The wait time was reasonable and absolutely worth it for the quality of the food. However, my order was incomplete: I did not receive the chutney or soda I had ordered. It wasn’t clear whether drinks were self-serve, so I chose not to assume. When paying, the other staff member was kind and helpful, and I made sure I wasn’t charged for the missing items.

Overall, the experience was positive largely because of how good the food was. With more consistent and welcoming service—and complete orders—this could easily be a 4- or even 5-star restaurant.

Recommendation: If you’re not easily put off by uneven service and genuinely enjoy good Indian food, this place is definitely worth a stop. I’ll likely be back for the food alone.

We driven thru this place so many times. The outside can look iffy. But the inside was very clean. The bathroom and behind the counters very clean and organized. The guy that dropped his food on this other review must have been a Numpty. Because they give you a plastic container which is sealed. Anyways back to my review. The food was so tasty! The Naan 10/10 I love spices being Latina. So great job guys! I’ll defiantly be back! My only struggle was understanding the order back. I should have just used Google Translate. I received something extra that I don’t think I ordered. Even though they repeated the order back to me twice. Lack of communication for sure. But I don’t care food was great and I’ll be better at ordering next time. 10/10 guys thank you! oh and my atmosphere 4 it’s because it was freezing in there.

If you’re a fan of authentic Indian cuisine, Sher-E-Punjab Dhaba in Nevada is a must-visit! I had the chance to dine here, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.

The food is rich in flavor and truly authentic—I ordered **butter chicken** and **garlic naan**, and it was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in the U.S. The chicken was tender, the sauce perfectly spiced, and the naan fresh and crispy. We also tried **dal tadka** and **veg biryani**, both bursting with flavors and expertly seasoned.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations and ensure you have the best experience. The restaurant has a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, and the food more than makes up for it. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner.

I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Indian meal in Nevada! 10/5

Given where this is located – a truck stop area in sleepy partial ghost town Wells, Nevada, this place is a huge and pleasant surprise. Didn’t look like much from the outside as is the way some of the best places tend to be. Humble but cheerful interior, very clean restroom. Polite and courteous service. Be patient, when I was there one person was running the entire front of house. Generous portions and delicious authentic food! As good as any highly rated Indian cuisine I have had in big cities like Portland, OR or Baltimore, MD. Highly recommend and glad I could find something quality and not a corporate unhealthy food chain right off I-80. I hope their restaurant thrives so that I might visit again next time I’m in the Ruby mountains area.
