This location is TERRIBLE! All of me and my coworker’s food was cold and old! My red beans were half full and already stirred up!!! Macaroni was literally mush and cheese . My biscuit was burnt. I had an excellent experience at the Popeyes on Lockwood Dr in Silver Spring. From the moment I walked in, everything was spotless. The restaurant was very clean and well-organized, both in the dining area and at the counter, even the restrooms. You can tell the team takes great pride in keeping the place in top shape for their customers.
The staff service was outstanding. Every employee was kind, attentive, and quick when taking my order. I felt welcomed the entire time. I especially want to highlight the managers, because they are clearly doing a fantastic job. Their leadership shows—there’s a great atmosphere among the team, they communicate well, and everything runs smoothly.
And of course, the food was amazing. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had that signature Popeyes flavor that makes them stand out. There were about five or six parking spaces outside, but almost every space had about a fifth of its front covered in snow. It’s rare to see a fast food restaurant that hadn’t cleared the snow even three weeks after it started snowing. The dining area was filled with pungent fumes, and the cashier seemed unwilling to work, treating customers very rudely. After exchanging a few words with her, I decided to leave before even finishing my order.

If you eat here, try lunchtime hours or dinner hours. There’s zero quality control aside from those times. After 7 pm you will get old biscuits, big deformed pieces of chicken, and old side dishes. It’s absolutely disgusting. Especially if you walk in and see the chicken sitting on cookie sheets where they’ve broken down their setup for the evening, you’re definitely cooked lol and will be receiving absolute trash if you place an order.

I was at Popeyes on Lockwood drive on Friday 9-12-25 around 11:20am. I placed an order through the app. When I got there my order was not ready waited and additional 15 min . I patiently waited for my order and the worker finally gave it to me. I asked for buffalo sauce and the worker was very rude and told me i had to pay which i was okay with. Then i explained to her that my order was placed online and i still had to wait soo long and she gave me a nasty attitude and said she was there alone and that the other lady that was there with her was doing nothing just walking around( she did not have to tell me all that).
Then she walked away and called me pendeja which is stupid. Then i asked to speak to a manager and claudia came out, not sure if thats her real name or they lied to me. The employee that called me stupid her name was Clelia i dont know if she lied about her name.. I had the worst experience ever in this location and its not the first time. This store has very bad customer service, I am very upset about this situation. An employee can not talk to a customer this way. I need a store manage to please contact me.
