I’ve been shopping Provisions for a couple of years now and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite stores of all time. I went there today to pick up a few things for my wedding anniversary and ended up having the most delightful conversation with their cheesemonger. I sampled a few cheeses and a wine and left with a fantastic selection. It just tickles me to geek out with a fellow monger! Everyone that works there is always so friendly and helpful. The cheese counter is always dazzling and the selection of beverages, both alcoholic and non is out of this world. This is such a wonderful place to buy gifts for your loved ones and to treat yourself! Thank you Provisions! I always leave happy!

My friend and I attended the Mill District Fall Festival last weekend and were looking for a place for lunch. Provisions made us a lovely “picnic plate” of charcuterie, even though they were incredibly busy. They also took the time to explain the wines they carry to us, in detail, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food they carry are of very good quality and the staff are amazingly nice and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop.

Great selection; I could spend hours upon hours looking at all the wine and specialty products. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Matt specifically helped me to make my selection and mentioned quite a few things to try on my next trip. Highly recommend a visit to Provisions!

The man I spoke with in here was extremely knowledgeable on his beer and wine knowledge, and was able to upsell me and my housemates on a beer that we ended up enjoying. Needless to say if you like bitter stouts, or smoky flavors from the brewing barrel, try lentbeer or oat beer, it was a fantastic suggestion
The employees were very kind and a pleasure to talk to. This place is more of a wine tasting area than a place to buy booze, though. It’s a shame to see Atkins farm go, but Provisions is a welcomed change

Like a Formaggio Kitchen right here in the Valley. They stock a wide and rotating selection of fine cheeses, both local and imported, along with a respectable wine and beer selection and a variety of gourmet specialties for the kitchen. The selection of wines is greater at their main location in Noho, however, and the same goes for spirits.
