25 minutes and still waiting. Felt like video taping the experience because I’m sure nobody is going to believe a fast food restaurant actually takes 25 minutes to serve mine, and my coworkers, burgers! But here we are. All standing, patiently waiting and watching the crew intently for any signs why our food isn’t on our table with us.
I couldn’t see the problem, really I couldn’t! They’d take an order, post it and move on to the next customer! Honestly, seemingly like a well oiled machine.
The time waiting, for the food, was spent with other customers wondering exactly what I was wondering! Am I going to have time to eat my lunch and get back to work in time? One lady had her name called and she complained because 1 of the 2 sandwiches was ready a full 10 minutes before the 2nd one and she didn’t want her friend to have a cold burger and she wasn’t paying for one. She got her $$ back but her friend ate the cold burger I guess. When a new customer came in I tried warning them of the wait and she assured me she’d been there before and was a accustomed to the wait. Oh. Then my food came.
Dang! That was a good burger! Fat, thick and juicy! The bun was extremely soft and smelled, dare I say it, fresh! The cheese fries were also something surprising to me, they were the perfect texture, crispy but not hard, and the cheese tasted great. Both my coworker and I really enjoyed the meal, and yes, we made it back to work in time!
I will be back for sure, if just to sample all their foods! Keep it up Beef a Roo!

Went in for a burger and was very disappointed. Waited 25 minutes for food but it’s a new place so I understand. Ordered a Mushroom and Swiss and cheese curds. Cheese curds were very over cooked as was the burger. Very disappointed.

Staff was super patient and kind, and even fixed my burger after mine had mayonnaise even though I asked for it off. A lot of unique options on the menu for food, and made to order so you know its fresh.

We ordered our food through the drive thru. And had to wait 30 minutes for our food. And didn’t get handed our drinks we paid for until another lady came to the window. And have of our order was missing and not dont right. I was missing a roast beef sandwich. And extra cheese on my fries. And my Philly chicken sandwich was greasy. The food was good but do better with the greasy food.

I’ve been a fan of Beef-a-roo for a long, long time. Their food is fairly decent, affordable, and fresh. This location isn’t quite the same as what I remember from Rockford, but generally quite good. I haven’t been inside yet, but the drive through service is efficient. We’ve ordered 8 times since they opened. They’ve always been accurate and friendly and have a huge menu. Overall, good experience.

I’ve gotten the tenderloin, cheese burger, chicken strips and a roast beef sandwich great food each time and great service each time besides the one time I went inside the workers inside didn’t have the same kind attitude as the drive through workers amazing food and amazing service every time In the drive thru. Well, let’s start by I didn’t even get to try the food because as soon as I went to order, I was told just a second, which by all means they probably are busy seeing as they’re newish to town. But then when the woman was ready to take my order, I asked if they honored the $5 deal that’s been advertised on FB. To which I was responded to with ” We don’t have a $5 dollar meal deal, that’s McDonald’s and you’re at Beef a Roo if you haven’t noticed” With a scoffing attitude. Then I asked, “so I get my choice of the 3 entrees she listed, fries and a drink for $5 bucks?” To be sure I’m hearing right over the attitude. She responded with ” no its like 6.05 including tax” right,but before tax its $5… So I said w/e and placed my order then thought to myself, if someone is willing to serve you attitude before they serve you the food, you can never trust your food won’t be messed with. I’ve worked plenty of food places to know and have seen it with my own eyes. The line hadn’t moved in the 7 mins I was waiting to order anyways and took my money elsewhere. We personally won’t be back to even try it, we will wait to come across another store before we ever order. It’s sad they just opened too and already got rude people with no manners in there. I’m all for supporting locally, but they won’t ever be on my list. If I want a beef n cheddar, ill skip down to Arby’s like I did today…. they dont ever talk to me like that there. Customer service is key especially in a small town like ours.
