Morgan’s on Main absolutely delivers on flavor, presentation, and overall experience. We started with the Tomato Bruschetta, and it was outstanding—juicy cherry tomatoes, red onions, and fresh basil piled generously over perfectly melted mozzarella, all served on toasted rosemary focaccia and finished with a rich balsamic glaze. Simple ingredients, done exceptionally well, and beautifully presented.
The Ahi Poke Nachos were just as impressive and incredibly creative. A generous bed of crispy wonton chips topped with fresh ahi, tomato pico, creamy avocado, a perfect balance of Sriracha aioli and wasabi cream, and finished with nori furikake. Every bite had the right mix of crunch, freshness, heat, and umami.
Both dishes looked as good as they tasted and were clearly crafted with care. Morgan’s on Main is a must-visit if you appreciate high-quality ingredients, thoughtful flavors, and dishes that are both elevated and approachable. We’ll absolutely be back!

Kelly Morgan (owner) in all of her brilliance and beauty, decided Woodland needed something…something NOWHERE near here has yet…a Billiards room! Woth lots of seating, two beautiful pool tables, two high end poker tables, and two places for dart board games that are safely separated to rule out any darts flying a direction in which they should not (lol). Kelly and her team knocked this gorgeous room OUT OF THE PARK.
Thank you for bringing something high-end and absolutely gorgeous to Woodland and truly caring about making this downtown area a place where people never want to leave
And YES… They are now featuring mocktails as to not leave out anyone

What a gem of a place here in Woodland. Was just passing through and googled best places and Morgan’s did not disappoint. Beer was ice cold, service was great and food was top notch. I recommend the fried raviolis for sure!

Have eaten at Morgans on Main a couple of times while traveling on business and have had a great experience each time. The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Woodland, which is the heart of Yolo County. It boasts a warm and inviting ambiance with brick-lined walls, offering a delightful New American cuisine complemented by a selection of beers and wines in a casual setting. We were greeted promptly and seated comfortably. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that our orders were taken swiftly. The chicken wings appetizer was spot on, and the young spinach salad with salmon was simply exquisite. The entire meal was met with unanimous praise from our table. I highly recommend Morgan’s On Main and eagerly anticipate future visits to savor their culinary delights once again.

Edit: returned for happy hour on new years eve, no reservation 5pm seated right away, and had absolutely delicious tri tip dip and surf & turf with great drinks and very reasonable prices. Will definitely return, very much worth the visit.

Morgan’s is a solid steak place with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It’s fun to get lost in the bar area on a bustling night. The staff are friendly and efficient. There are slightly more options on the dinner menu. The salads are solid, and I definitely recommend adding a protein. The wine selection is one of my favorite parts. You can get local favorites like Grindstone Wines there, and I’m not sure where else in town serves them. I highly recommend the Grindstone cab to pair with a hearty steak dinner. It’s an easy drinking cab. They also have a couple of sauvignon blancs on the menu, which are the best in town, IMO. On the pricier side for Woodland dinner – but worth it on special nights or to treat yourself.

Stopped in on a Wednesday in mid December. Ordered the Rib Eyed, medium rare. It was very charred. It ruined the steak. Over paid for a burnt steak. I didn’t want to make a fuss, but I also won’t be returning. Waitstaff was pleasant.
