Don’t let the outside of this no frills joint fool you. Inside, the all you can eat buffet of southern cuisine, is absolutely delicious! You pay when you enter, the line for the buffet forming on the right. The buffet includes hash & rice, mashed potatoes, assorted vegetables & casseroles seasoned to perfection, tender ribs, crispy fried chicken, pulled pork , etc. They have a salad bar that is top notch too. Try the ambrosia! Staff is friendly and efficient, every bit of the place was spotless. I didn’t ask but I believe they may even have some type of takeout, pickup system as a heard a bell ring occasionally while there… This place was pure sunshine on a cloudy day. Glad to have found it!

Now I don’t know if it was because I came at 8 o’clock and it closes at nine, but the food was lukewarm and tasted like somebody’s leftovers. Another elderly couple that came in shortly behind me around 8:20 and they seemed like they were rushing to get everybody out I thought it was kind a rude.I tried a little bit of everything The best thing was the cabbage the green beans in the homemade pork rinds. The chicken was good but not any better than anybody else. I was kind of excited because I heard that the ribs were good but they tasted like they were boiled and then seasons. As I said everything even the meat except the chicken was lukewarm. I would not go back unless I was super hungry and had no other way to warm and ate food up.

We got takeout, one meat and two sides. I ordered the pulled pork. It was lean without fat or gristle and delicious. The Lima beans, fried okra, hush puppies were delicious! My husband ordered the fried chicken and it was great. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back. My meal was enough for two meals. My husband cleaned his plate

I’ve been there twice, they nice but each time I was disappointed with the portion size. I got the meat and three sides. The food is ok but the portions are SMALL !!!. I was told they’re different owners so that maybe the issue. Under the previous management the portions were great. You had enough food left over for the next day because honestly you could not finish it all. They’re charging the same price if not more and giving much less food. They need to either give decent portions or change the prices. I won’t be going back unless the portion sizes have change.

Worst buffet I have ever had. For starts I have never been served at a buffet with someone fixing my plate for me. Had the hash and rice which was good. The macaroni and cheese and the squash was ok then I had a peice of fried chicken. All was warm at best but the fried chicken and it was cold. First time I eating here in the last couple years and I think I will wait a few more years till I try it again. I would not recommend to nobody.

Updated Review August 2021. The food has gone way downhill. I wouldn’t recommend it now. The BBQ is so so. The hash and vegetables are mostly bad and the service isn’t great. I’ve been going here a long time and watched the progression. It’s really been sad to watch.
The food is wonderful, though laden with calories and fat, the service is fast and friendly and the price is crazy cheap – $10 for all you can eat including drink or $6 for a meat and two vegetables plate.
