We have never been disappointed with the delicious food! Everything is on point, with speedy service, and you can’t beat 8.99 burritos on Friday!
We love this place!
Started with a lime jarrito for hubby and mike’s hard lemonade for me. It was a little loud but not disturbingly so. The spinach artichoke dip was our appetizer and it was really good. The dip was very different and reminded me of a ranch veggie dip with spinach and artichoke added in. The free chips were warm and the salsa had a little spice to it but tasted more like marinara in a good way and no heart burn from it. Used the chips to finish eating our spinach dip because there weren’t a ton of chips with the dip. I was glad because it would have felt wasteful with too many chips at the table.
I got the veggie fajitas with no beans or tortillas because I just like the inside stuff. Should have added chicken like I usually do but I hesitated and stuck with just veggies. Still very yummy just would have been even tastier and more substantial with chicken added. The Spanish rice was good and tasted very homemade. Still not my favorite rice ever but it was very good. (I think most places use short grain rice and theirs was long grain which was a good kind of different).
Hubby got burrito campechano and loved it but said it was very filling in comparison to the typical wet burrito dish he likes to get at other restaurants.
We finished up with the apple chimichanga to share for dessert. It was soooo good! In the past I used to love apple pancakes but have since decided I no longer like pancakes. This was similar with the apples in a cinnamon glaze but wrapped in a fried tortilla which means I have a way to get my apple dessert fix without the pancakes now! It was so good just with the tortilla and apples I almost forgot to try it with the whipped cream and ice cream. The textures and flavors were so wonderful together it’ll be in my sweet dreams tonight for sure 🙂
About $43 for everything before tip makes this one of the most affordable, delicious, and all around best experiences we’ve had in a while.
