I am convinced this is the best food in Reno. The service is also fantastic. The vibe of the restaurant is similar to a popular local restaurant in LA. Good music in the background, the smell of the yakitori grill, happy people eating delicious food. Great spot for a date or to take friends and family. I would recommend trying the chicken skin yakitori. But you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

I enjoyed a delicious meal here with friends. We order a variety of food which was all delicious. I prefer the octopus and the maple bacon wrapped sweet potatoes which were both amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant if you like the cuisine and are in Midtown.

This was my first time eating this type of fusion cuisine. Sat at the bar and our waitress put in food for us and kept it coming! The fried chicken with spicy sauce is absolutely insane, I could eat 100 of them. Definitely recommend!

Very high cost for very little food that wasn’t the best. I can find better versions of each of things I ordered elsewhere. $20 for a few bite size pieces of pork is frankly ridiculous, so just on that I don’t recommend this place. The crispy rice appetizer tasted like it was just dunked in Frank’s red hot. I expect more from a gentrified hipster joint like this. It’s a poor imitation of what they do in other, cooler cities with none of the good parts. Music was way too loud. Please, please do not support these low effort businesses that are ruining reno and raising the cost of living.

The food is absolutely delicious. I took my mom to dinner here and we split shrimp dumplings (amazing) and pork Ramen. Both were incredible. Our server was really friendly even though the place was PACKED with people. Definitely lives up to the hype. We will be back

Visited this place for the first time while in Reno, the service was disgusting! After asking about the menu items and expressing that I did not want onions or mushrooms, that was exactly what I got! When told that I spoke of that exact item beforehand the server shrugged her shoulders like oh well! Needless to say it was a waste of my time. I would not recommend this place!

Honestly nothing special about their ramen.

This place has been touted as the pinnacle of Reno ramen and I must say it was extremely ordinary. Nothing special about their ramen, the taste was bland, the extra spices and items they provided on the side were not even Japanese. They gave us chinese chilli sauce to put it.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere.

Super fun experience! Being in midtown, parking was a bit limited so we parked across the way and walked over. Waited in line before they opened, wow did this line fill up fast. Once open, we were greeted and seated, faced with what to get.

We had a small table close to the back and next to a booth, it was a bit awkward seating but enough room for the two of us.

We ordered the okonomiyaki waffles, which is what I was looking forward to the most. Super flavorful and I loved the twist by using waffles instead of a pancake. Onigiri which may have been the least favored dish, we make onigiri often and appreciated the crisp on the outside … though rice was even a bit hard on the inside and lacked any spices for flavor.

The giant squid which was a total highlight and one reason we’ll be coming back. Lamb gyoza, extremely flavorful and juicy!

Ramen was also really good and served last as the meal. Noodles were a little stiff and stuck together but great broth.

Drinks were great just a lil bitter.

Had the craziest experience trying to walk into this place almost an hour before advertised closing. Aggressively stopped at the door and told about a slow night and how they were closing while people are still eating in the restaurant. I guess that is a good way to drive away customers. After that experience I will never come back to try again. Crazy

This place was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and look forward to returning when we are in town again. I loved the ambiance and laid back vibe, the casual chefs attire and open kitchen made me feel comfortable. Not to be fooled though by attire, these chefs can cook and plate beautifully! Everything was delicious and well presented, I even noticed the nice knife work within their dishes. Great job with the food and servers were attentive and friendly. Loved it here!
