Order at front then sit down type of place.

Friendly and helpful cashier(waitress). Hot and spicy chicken sandwich (not too hot) was pretty good (fries extra). The mule cocktail was also refreshing

This place is a total hit! The burgers, though smaller than expected, were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The sweet potato fries were a standout—crispy, sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Great vibe and friendly service make it a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

The beer is great! However, while we were there their internet went down. Not a big normally right? Well when the internet is down their beer taps will not work. This is crazy, it is 2026 get a mobile hot spot as a back up for goodness sake. We must have BEER!

Loved the place bc of the variety of beers. It was nice to be able to choose and pour as much as I wanted of each beer. Great if you wanna try some different ones but don’t want to commit to a full glass.
It did took me a few times to understand how to use the card tho, a bit more of explanation from staff would have been helpful. Food was ok. Hard to find parking around!

I came on this place by chance for a quick bite and was so impressed I came back for dinner. It’s a unique and hearty selection of sandwiches burgers fries and a few salads. It’s like bar food for the finer taste. There is good open seating and the staff are very friendly. They do military discount too. It’s right off the street with cheap street parking. They have lots of taps for beer too. It’s fast, but fresh and affordable.

If you’re looking for a place with great atmosphere and good food, then The Taproom is the place for you! Did I mention that there’s a lounge on the lower level with a phenomenal bar staff?!? Though it was my first time visiting, I was treated as if I was a regular. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this was my only second time here. But, it was also my second time in Montgomery. If I lived here they would have to give me my own table. Because I would be here every week.

I had the wings with hot sauce and tater tots. The wings were HOT, somewhat spicy, salty and delicious! I only got six wings because I am trying to watch my figure. But….it would be easy to go overboard and eat 3 times that many.

It’s a tap room so they have plenty of different beers to try out. Though I am not a fruity beer person, the peach beer reminds me of a cider. It went very well with the wings. Next up was a porter called Dos Perros which surprisingly I liked became I’m more of a lager or pilsner person. This porter went down smooth with no bitterness.

Atmosphere was great but a little loud due to a large group getting louder the more lubricated they got. This place is located in a very cool area downtown near the river and Union Station

If you are in Montgomery, give them a try. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.

Great place to grab some food and hang out with people. So the high level review is that the atmosphere, food, & service at Tower Taproom are phenomenal, the reason for only 4 stars is regarding the beer prices and selections/lack there of (see the second paragraph). Pros: wonderful atmosphere to stop in solo or with a group of people and relax. I was shocked at the variety of food that they offer and equally pleased with the quality of said food! I ordered the “Double Secret Probation” loaded fries with fried chicken, and they were amazing! The service was excellent as well! Everyone was helpful and polite. And my food came out super fast and was good and hot!

Ok so now the cons: so the price per oz on the beers equates to about $8-$10 per glass on the moderate ABV% beers, and even higher for higher ABV% beers which is a bit high. I had 2 glasses and it ran me $20. The other thing that was disappointing to me was the lack of options. So I’ve been visiting Montgomery for the last 2 weeks, and the one thing that I have thoroughly enjoyed about every downtown bar that I’ve visited is there robust selections of locally brewed (Alabama) beers. This was not the case at Tower Taproom (at least on the day I was there). I there were more of the national brands (Golden Monkey, Michelob,etc..). I would have loved to come to a spot like this and have had mainly (or at least majority) local brews. Finally, the other local bars, that serve more local beers, do so for aboht $5-$7 per glass.

I heard they had great food here and I finally tried it out for myself! The (Comeback King) burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time, the french fried dill pickles (aka Rugrats Gone Wild) were amazing and came with a side of Cajun Ranch!
I’m not a drinker but if you like beer on tap this place has you covered 57 times!!

I really liked the Tower Taproom. I am a sucker for the pour walls with the ability to do a small or large pour and try many of the local brews. Tower Taproom also had really good food. The Daisy Duke (hot honey fried chicken with duke’s mayo and pickles) was delicious and the fries were good. I’ll definitely visit again if I’m in town and recommend to anyone I know heading to Montgomery!
