As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I placed an order on the app. A Crispy Garlic Swiss Clucker and a Double Classic Cheeseburger. As you can see, DISGUSTING . I was asked to pull to the side of the drive thru away from the window along with every other car . Employee whose name I did not catch tall guy with glasses was bringing orders out to cars with an attitude. I asked for ketchup and he literally responded with “NO” . Checkers do better with who you hire .

Subject: Repeated Refusal to Take Orders Before Closing Time – 1782 NW 36th St, Miami, FL

Dear Checkers Customer Service,

I am writing to report an issue that occurred today, October 12, 2025, at your location at 1782 NW 36th St, Miami, FL 33142.

I arrived at the drive-thru around 3:50 AM to place an order. According to your posted hours, this location closes at 4:00 AM. The ordering system was still active, and I was ready to order. However, the employee on duty told me to “wait” while they served another customer outside. They intentionally delayed my order until after 4:00 AM, at which point they said the store was closed and refused to take my order.

This is not the first time this has happened — the same employee did the exact same thing in previous weeks, deliberately waiting until 4:00 AM to deny service.

This behavior is unfair to customers who arrive before closing time and reflects poorly on the Checkers brand. I kindly ask that this incident be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure customers are treated fairly when arriving before closing.

You can discuss high standards all day, but true consistency is rare. Honestly? Checkers is the only place that never misses. It doesn’t matter where you are or what time it is—those seasoned fries and that burger hit the exact same way every single time. That is an elite experience.

Keep it Cute
We placed two separate orders through DoorDash from Checkers, and both experiences were completely unacceptable.
The first DoorDash driver stole our entire meal and cancelled the order after pickup. We were forced to reorder, which already caused a delay and inconvenience after a long day of travel.
For the second order, we purchased a Big Buford meal (customized) and a Classic Burger meal (customized). The total for this order was $30.83. The DoorDash driver claimed to have picked up the correct order, but the restaurant handed him the wrong order. What we received was two Classic Burgers with random additions we did not request — no Big Buford at all. Our fountain drinks were flat.

The restaurant is only 3.8 miles away from the Marriott, where we are currently staying. This should have been a quick and simple delivery. Instead, we are now hungry, frustrated, and stuck with no correct meal after paying nearly $31.

This level of incompetence and lack of care is appalling. Whoever is responsible for managing this Checkers location should be held accountable. Both the DoorDash delivery process and the restaurant’s quality control completely failed.

We expect a full refund for the $30.83 order and appropriate follow-up to ensure this is addressed. This experience was a travesty and absolutely unacceptable for paying customers. I will be contacting Corporate, we travel to this hotel often and this is not the first time this has occurred.

This is what they gave me and it was so soggy and nasty, as soon as I bit into it all I tasted was a bunch of sauce on my burger. the meat was cold I would never go back there while I was in line waiting the crew member was screaming at a costumer and then gave me this I’m disgusted. This isn’t food it’s more like something I would give my dog. Don’t come here if you want some food for just now and yes I have worked at fast food restaurants and wouldn’t give anyone this especially if it’s slow I literally live 4 mins from there and my food was already cold and wet. Never eating here again the first time I went around 10 am ordered a chicken sandwich and fries when I got home fries were extremely hard and burnt as If they didn’t drop fresh fries and use the fries from the previous night I came back and complained about the fries the young African American girl was very respectful and apologetic about the fries so I didn’t make it a big deal . I go back home and bite into my chicken sandwich and it is just as hard and burnt as the fries so I had to come back AGAIN I complain to the older Hispanic woman there and she says “ the chicken sandwich wasn’t that hard” like excuse me ? It shouldn’t be hard at all just admit you giving out old food just disrespectful and pathetic i won’t be eating here and asked for my money back !! Do not eat here !!!

I really wish I would’ve took a picture of my sandwich before I returned the food without getting a refund, but they served me grey and brown lettuce. I drove Home saw the sandwich and I decided to get back in my car and drive back to the checkers when I get to the checkers The two ladies in the front say that they didn’t make the sandwich and that they don’t have fresh lettuce so I asked for a refund and they told me that I’m not allowed to get a refund because I took the food home and brought it back. It’s very unfortunate that people that work in fast food don’t care about the customers if you don’t care about your job don’t work. I worked in fast food for two years and I never went against a Customer and I don’t understand how a checkers doesn’t have fresh lettuce. If that was the case they should’ve never sold the sandwich. It’s so disgusting The kind of people that work For fast food and it’s disgusting how much they don’t even care about the customers I literally asked the lady would she eat this sandwich and she stayed quiet it was absolutely disgusting I plan on calling again tomorrow and talking to the manager. This is actually unacceptable. I spent $25 for food I returned to the store in her face!!!!
