Ambiance:
The decor is stunning. From the floor-to-ceiling Japanese pop-culture collage to the iconic red telephone booth and the glowing neon “Gojo Ramen” sign, every corner of this restaurant is Instagram-worthy. It has a cozy, immersive “Tokyo street” feel that makes you forget you’re anywhere else.
The Food:
We started with the Gyoza, which was perfectly pleated and packed with flavor—served on a beautiful patterned plate that really elevated the presentation.
The star of the show, however, was the Ramen. The broth was rich and savory, and the toppings were generous! I loved the addition of the crispy elements, fresh corn, and perfectly marinated egg. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients.
Service & Price:
The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and the food came out surprisingly fast. In terms of price, it is very well-valued. You get premium quality and large portions without breaking the bank, making it a great spot for both a casual lunch or a special dinner date.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommended! ✨

Coming back to gojo.. Their ramen is ok but not authetic ramen taste.. Its like fusion of korean street food.. More crunchy.. But their other food like makizushi bento box and spicy beef udon.. They are good. Food quantity is good. If you are not heavy eater one bento box is good for two. Environment is too good.. Its a must visit place if you are couple and love japanese anime or some cozy place. Oh price is not high. Its ok.
– their ramen is way too overhyped, I tried their beef steak ramen and I didn’t like it much. Their beef smelled off and was chewy, and that taste was in the broth too so I didn’t like it. I was able to finish it but it was below average.
– their karaage chicken is good, but tastes better with their sweet soy sauce than the provided sauce.
– their sushi was average, it wasn’t that flavorful but does taste better with the sweet soy sauce.
– tried their bento box the last time I went here, it’s very filling and average. It’s in a wooden plate and I’ve heard some people say they got mold on them so do be aware.
Overall I’d only ever go here for their sides and sushis, their ramen was not good and I was a little let down by their service. There were no customers and yet I had to call them three times to give us drinks that they gave at the very end. The influencer hype oversells this place, so keep your expectations reasonable.
We started with the California Maki Roll, which was fresh, well-prepared, and had a nice balance of creamy and tangy flavors. For the main course, I tried the Nanean Bento Box, which came packed with a generous assortment of items—each thoughtfully prepared and offering a variety of tastes and textures on a single tray.
The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl stood out with its tender chicken, rich teriyaki glaze, and perfectly cooked rice—comforting and satisfying. The highlight for me, however, was the Kaisen Seafood Ricebowl—loaded with seafood and full of umami flavors, it was both hearty and delicious.
The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Gojo Ramen is a great addition to Mohammadpur’s dining scene, especially for anyone craving Japanese comfort food. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!
