What a great spot! Daisy the barista was so welcoming and the tea she recommended was delicious! When she noticed me working she brought the wifi password to me; very observant and helpful! They have all sorts of pastries, smoothies, and Ehrler’s ice cream. I’ll be back!

This is a pretty cool experience. I love having the ability to step into different cultures and try different foods and meet different people. They’re just opening up so they’re trying to fill out the neighborhood and see what people do and don’t like.

They’ve got some very traditional African / Somali products in there to look at and purchase. They’re continually working on the space making it even better for the community at Large. My favorite is the Somali tea! I ride my bike there so I bring my own container that I have in my cup holder on my Mountain bike. I pour the hot Somali tea over ice! It is so freaking fantastic!

The sambusa is definitely all that. We have it when we go in as well. They’ve got some tasty treats and I’ve had the slice of chocolate cake that was so creamy and delicious! I’m waiting for the lemon cake to come back! Lol!

I would definitely recommend this Cafe. My son and I went there and got a Cookies & Cream milkshake and a Mango Smoothie. It was delicious.
We will definitely be going back soon. We felt welcomed as soon as we came in.
It’s nice to support the local neighborhood business.

So happy this cute little cafe opened at the corner of Woodlawn and Southern Parkway. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great and the variety of pastries and other goods pairs well with the coffee. Be sure to try the fried dough for a comforting treat!

The spiced milk tea was the best I’ve had. The store always smells fragrant and the air-conditioning keeps the place at the perfect temperature every time I come. The Kenyan themed decor is also excellent and I think this store has the potential to be top tier in terms of atmosphere with some more support.

The man working there was the coolest guy ever . I just bought an espresso machine and I went in there to ask about beans and the man told me how to roast my own beans and everything . If you want to support a good business with great coffee– give this place your money, they deserve it .

Really nice coffee shop, very cool African decor. Wish they’d had decaf and dairy free/gluten free options. Even without that though I’ll still go back, the service was excellent.

I’ve been here a few times since they opened, everything has been amazing every time! Their lattes are way better than any other I’ve ever had. Their selection of food and desserts is great, I love the samosas and the crepes! The owner, Mohammad, is incredibly nice. As are the lovely folks he had helping today. Definitely make this one of your regular spots!

I came across this family-owned coffee shop on my way and decided to give it a try. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I ordered tea, and it was quite good. The prices are also very affordable. It’s a wonderful place to support a local neighborhood business!
