This place was very cool. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly. We did not get any food just tea. The tea was good and unique. I have never tasted tea like the one I got here. Definitely check out if you like chill places to get tea.

I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, ordering is simple and the tea service was great. This could be a great date night spot or just a place to relax sip some tea and read a book or work on your laptop. There is outdoor seating as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.
Update: Came here again but in the evening. Still the same great food. The vibe is really chill and good place to have conversation with a friend. And smoke some hookah if you like too!

A wonderful experience! The tea was the best I’ve ever had! The food was flavorful, sooo good! The service was warm and inviting. If you want a Moroccan experience, if you want to get out of Rhode Island and step into another continent for an hour or 2….this is the place to visit!

This is not your average sit down restaurant. You come in, grab a menu, order, then pay and await greatness. Please note that they have bigger menu than what is on Google and Yelp. I totally forgot to take a picture of the menu. All of the food is made to order so please be patient. We ordered the Mint tea lightly sweetened and the iced Hibiscus tea. Both very good. We ordered the bakoula, baked beets, Brie sandwich to start. Everything was delicious. The bakoula is like sautéed spinach and the baked beets are served with goat cheese and sliced almonds. You eat these both with Pita. The Brie sandwich was very good. It is served with mixed greens which are a bit bitter but the Brie and raspberry spread pair nicely together. We also order the tortilla de patata with is essentially a potato and egg quiche served with cherry tomatoes. It was Very good. It’s dimly lit but you can still read the menu and the Moroccan music in the background is at a respectable volume. They have a gender neutral bathroom which was nice and clean. They also have desserts and hookah.

First time here, had a crispy chicken salad, it’s the best salad I’ve ever had. The complexity and layer of flavors made every single bite a surprise. The breading of the chicken was subtle and even and thin. The flavor was very special, couldn’t figure out what it was.
The portion was huge but I finished it.
Will come again and try other stuff.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SURPRISE!!
Parked in front of the restaurant while heading to another one but the food on other patrons’ plates looked too good to pass up.
Food was amazing (it’s been a while since we’ve had food this tasty), the restaurant was cute and cozy, and the waitress was very nice. Had the lamb shank tagine, mussels tagine, and goat cheese/beet salad. The Mint tea was so good we ordered another tea to try after dinner.

On a cold Sunday night after spending the day out in RI, we were simply looking for a hot cup of coffee. As Moroccan, I never expected to find a place with such an authentic atmosphere—it truly felt like being back in Morocco for a couple of hours. The service was phenomenal, especially thanks to Selma ❤️, and we were even treated to a complimentary tea on the house. An unforgettable experience and a spot we’ll definitely return to.”

every time i remember to come here, it’s exactly what i needed.

atmosphere is always lovely. vegan dishes and lamb dishes for both ends of our food desires at a given time. warm lovely tea.

but EVERY TIME the food is presented and brought to us thoughtfully. coursed as best shared. extra rice or bread as an alternate if too many dishes came with pita. special harissa to try.

always welcoming and dear when I come in with my partner, with various friends, or to catch music. A gem of a place, by a family that takes pride in sharing and filling in the spaces I might not know enough to have ordered differently to better the experience.

We were a group of 4 and ordered, a medium pot of sweet mint tea, lamb meatballs, lamb sandwich, the chicken tangine (26 dollars), and two smoothies which totalled 75 or 78 dollars before tip. The “sweetened” mint tea was the best I have ever had!!! I will go back for the tea and hummus with pita bread. They do have vegetarian meals but look online. The ambience was an amazing vibe! Seems like college students go here for tea or coffee while working on their laptop. I loved the people and the authentic ethnic vibe which instantly transported me to Morocco. Absolutely beautifully decorated inside! They do have free street parking. However, I imagine if it’s a busy day in the city, it might be hard to find a spot close by. Like many buildings in Providence, it’s an older building so not wheelchair excessable but you can always do take out and head to the nearby park on a nice day. Lastly, do not go by the days and times you see posted online. You will be disappointed. You must call to find out if they are open. Or, if your in Providence, swing by. If it says “open” … it’s your lucky day! That is just how they roll.

Phenomenal chicken – so tender that just rips apart in your mouth. The hummus was delightful – chickpea flavor shone through with just a hint of spice/paprika. Thought the rice was a star in and of itself too – perfect balance of savoriness to the rest of the meal. Thought the music and decor had an authentically moorish feel. Servers did an excellent job. Would highly recommend for a meal in Providence!!
