I’m from out of town and went here with my wife and two friends. Let me tell you: it was amazing. Two of them had the Bella Frita burger, which they said was delicious. I had the black bean version, which can be made vegan if you take off the cheese and aoili. The burgers not only taste delicious, but they have a lot of crunchy shoestring potatoes, which adds great texture and flavor. We all had plantain chips as a side, and the chips come with a vegan citrus and garlic sauce that goes perfectly with them. I added that sauce to my vegan burger and it was the perfect addition. The sauce added a lot of flavor and moisture, which helped since I had to remove the original cheese and sauce since they had dairy in them. Our other friends had the quesadillas; she’s been here often and loves the food but said those might be her new favorite.
Overall the food, atmosphere, service, prices, non-existent wait time and plenty of parking make this an amazing restaurant. I’d come here all the time if I lived here and you should too!!

This place is amazing!!! Everything is handmade and the owner, Siv, is always there serving the community with a smile. She is so kind and the food is incredible. The empanadas are to die for. I love coming here all the time for lunch. The patio is so nice and I love the atmosphere. This is a locally owned gem!

Siv the owner was very helpful in explaining her menu and helping us decide what to try. You can really taste the care they put into every dessert — especially the flan, it’s amazing! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Richardson.

I’m part Cuban and my boyfriend is Mexican. This was his first time trying authentic Cuban food, and it was so DELICIOUS 10/10!! Our to-go was packed perfectly and the portions are good. And he said the owner was so sweet. We will definitely be back! Some of the photos may include half eaten food . He actually went back in to get an extra flan (because we loved the coconut one) and drink before we left lol.

I recently stopped by this Cuban bakery and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the visit even more enjoyable. The selection of flan was impressive and absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly made. I also tried the empanadas and potato croquettes, and both were flavorful and freshly prepared. Everything I had was top quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Cuban flavors and warm hospitality!

Cuban Culinary delight! I was highly impressed I had to try a little bit of everything. I noticed right away the first sandwich on the menu sounded a lot like ropa veija on bread. Wow. Game changer. Very tender and flavorful. The staff were very accommodating and even made me an iced passion fruit sweet tea. The kindness from the staff only seemed to make the fresh and tongue tantalizing food better. My best post COVID sit down experience by far. Keep up the hard work.

This is a wonderful little place with a lot of heart. The owner is a sweet woman who does it all. She takes orders, takes time to make every one feel very welcome, and delivers the food. And the food is fantastic. The black bean burger was the best I’ve ever had. The bun was super yummy. The bean patty was flavorful and the little homemade potato sticks were delicious. The plantains were also top notch!! The hamburger got rave reviews, as did the empanadas. The desserts were the best part!! The flan was delicious–there are so many varieties to choose from. The tres leches was good–they had chocolate, which was a first for us. But the best thing was the pastelito. The pastry on that was perfection!! It was light and flaky and had the most wonderful flavor.
I loved the great welcome we got; the service was great! And they brought pup cups for the dogs!! We will definitely be back! Again, it’s a wonderful place.

This Cuban cafe is absolutely amazing! Everything we tried tasted fresh and authentic. The pork empanadas were perfectly seasoned, and the Cuban sandwich was incredible — definitely one of the best I’ve had.
The flan deserves its own spotlight because it’s unbelievably creamy and smooth. The coconut flan is hands down my favorite!
On top of the fantastic food, the customer service is top tier. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes the whole experience even better.
I give this place a 5-star rating — you truly can’t go wrong here!
