There’s a Hyderabad House in almost every city, even back home in Chicago. so when I was in Jersey City, I went straight to the one here. The food was extremely delicious and truly authentic Hyderabadi in taste. The mutton biryani and chicken 65 were spot on, and the service was really good. The ambience and dining area could use a little improvement, but honestly, when the food is this good, it’s easy to overlook. Overall, a very satisfying experience, highly recommend to anyone who loves real Hyderabadi food!

I usually don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel this needs to be shared. We recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While the staff was polite and the ambiance was decent, we were shocked to find hair in our food.
When we brought it to the staff’s attention, the response was not as apologetic or professional as we expected. A situation like this not only ruins the dining experience but also raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety.
I request folks be careful when you get food from here. Hopefully, management takes this seriously and improves their standards.

Love the butter chicken and butter naan! During Ramadan they have a nice spread for a buffet and Zam Zam water There is also a prayer area if you ask politely! Staff is very attentive.

I had very bad dining experience yesterday.
The staffs are very good. But the food quality is too bad. This is not exactly Indian Hyderabad style food. The biriyani too bad teste. I don’t recommend my friends.

This offers a mix of hits and misses. Chicken 65 impresses with its flavor, though the sauces could be toned down to let the dish shine. Haleem earns points for taste authenticity. The star, however, is the Dum Biryani, especially when ordered with double masala for a spicy kick. Service is decent, though the ambiance could use some enhancement. Overall, it’s a solid choice for good Indian cuisine, with some dishes standing out more than others. Note – Mandi’s are only available on FRIDAYS. I didn’t get a chance to try it out.

The food here is exceptional; it is very delicious and tasted like authentic Hyderabadi food. We ordered the mutton mandi, dum ka chicken, and papdi chaat. Each item was good quality, and the portions they provided were generous.
The wait time can be a bit long, unfortunately, but the good quality of the food almost makes up for it. However, one thing which I was disapppointed with and did not appreciate, was how once my order was finally ready it was left on a table in the back without me being informed; I’m not sure why they went through the effort of asking my name for the order if they didn’t even seem to bother calling my name out when it was ready.
I also wish they wouldn’t nickel and dime customers with credit card transactions fees.

Haleem did not taste like proper haleem. They have it but does’nt feel with lot of meat. Feels like eating dal….

Chapati are prepared from a mix of refined flour and wheat flour.
Dal makhani, by far this is one of the worst tasting and smelling dal makhni me and my family had.

If I could give this place less than one star, Idefinitely would! I wasted $50 for nothing. The biryani was awful, just bones with no meat. The garlic naan was undercooked, and they even overcharged me— the menu said $2.99, but they billed me $3.99!
On top of that, the restaurant was dirty and completely unsuitable for dining. To make things worse, they added a service tax and other extra charges that were not mentioned anywhere on the menu. This felt like a total scam. Absolutely do not recommend!
