I had heard the buzz about Moon Donut & Cafe and finally decided to see what all the fuss was about… and wow. Just WOW.
I ordered the maple long john with bacon on top and I can honestly say it was the best tasting donut I’ve ever had. Perfectly soft, fresh, and that sweet maple with the salty bacon, know that’s a love letter wearing sprinkles? Absolute magic.
You know it’s good when you’re already planning your next visit before you’ve even finished the first bite. I’ll definitely be back for another one… even if I’m still wishing they were calorie free

I had seen positive reviews of Moon Donuts on Facebook, so I decided to try a few donuts when I was in Monticello. I came later in the day so the selection was limited. I tried the blueberry and chocolate cake donut. Both were fine. Nothing special. It’s right across the street from the Monticello Community Center.

Great donuts to the moon and back! They alao have other food. Once we get in there, we forget everything but do ots. Love their old fashioned do ots. My sister loves everything with maple frosting. Will post photos the next time. The couple who runs the Monticello store are really nice.

So many delicious and beautiful donuts, and all the staff were fast getting customers orders out the door.
We got the: Lemon filled, glazed old fashioned, and an apple fritter! All were absolutely delicious.
With prices and quality this amazing, there’s no reason to not get a whole box!!!

We love the doughnuts here. I just picked up a box with a dozen doughnuts this morning. I understand prices go up, but $25 was a three or fur dollar increase from just a month ago or so. I think my family has hit that point where we have been priced out unfortunately. $25 is hard to justify.

Stopped here Sunday after noon and there was about 4 rows of donuts left. Wasn’t too busy. The staff was also friendly and efficient so everyone was in and out quickly. Place was clean and there was plenty of tables open.
I ordered a variety of 7 donuts and wow these are by far the best donuts we’ve had. So soft and not overly sweet or heavy. Averages out to be about $2.70 a donut.
Highly recommend and will revisit.

The donuts were excellent, we also got a breakfast burrito and crossiant sandwich, both were delicious. You could tell they used good ingredients and it was homemade. Service was excellent too!
