A small group of us enjoyed cocktails and dinner, sharing several small plates. The food was good as were the cocktails. Our server was also attentive. It was pricey, probably my only complaint. Ambiance was fun and unique. The chicken was like crack and I liked the dumplings the most. Unfortunately they were out of sticky buns. For drinks I had a Moscow mule and a grasshopper. We savored churros for dessert.

Lovely vintage restaurant but unfortunately the food was not that great. One dish we ordered came with “dosa”, but it was actually burnt crispbread. The fried chicken was floury with no flavor and the mushi-pan chocolate cake was like tasteless cookie dough. Cocktails were nice and the burger was decent. The side salad and fries were the best overall.

Beautiful place! We were so excited to try the Fern bar. The food was excellent. We were disappointed in the service. Our server was very short with us. No personal touch at all. Also we were not familiar with how different the cocktails are. For first-timers, it would be helpful if they were explained a bit. We love the atmosphere and it’s a great place to go for happy hour! Hopefully he was just having an off day

We stopped in just for drinks after hearing great things about the cocktails here and they totally delivered. The drink list is super creative and they even had slushies (I’m a total sucker for a frozen cocktail). It was delicious
Service was spot-on, and I absolutely loved the retro 70s fern-bar vibes inside—lush plants, warm lighting, and a fun throwback charm. Looking forward to coming back next time we’re in the area.

Food was very good. Soul was a great server and had some perfect suggestions. The num nums with szechuan pepper is really interesting. The pepper is not hot but numbing. Give it a try!

We booked ahead for brunch at Fern Bar in Sebastopol and had a fantastic experience. Interior was amazing decor. Ambiance was fantastic. The cocktail menu featured many of my favorites, and I couldn’t resist trying the Pisco Sour, which was absolutely amazing—perfectly balanced with a smooth, frothy texture. For brunch, we ordered the New Mexican Breakfast, which turned out to be my favorite dish. It had bold flavors and a comforting, hearty feel. We also tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which had a crispy, tender chicken fillet paired with spicy cheese, adding just the right amount of heat. Overall, the food, drinks, and ambiance made for a great brunch outing. I’d definitely come again!

Wow…the Miami bomb, the fried chicken, the chocolate boudino…ecstasy in the mouth. Nicole was absolutely fabulous. Best dinner I’ve had in ages…and I travel. Austin, New York, LA, Tampa, Chicago…this competes with the best.

The umami bomb was delicious! I haven’t seen an entree like this anywhere else. Flavorful with a variety of textures. Clearly marked vegan options

Was my wife and I’s anniversary eve, started our weekend here and was her first time in. I booked 5 days prior and noted that it was our anniversary and to please make it special. When seated we were shoved in a corner and was very close to many other tables. Not a romantic scene. Hostess was rude and obviously burnt out/doesn’t care. I asked if we could get another table and pointed to a two seater in a cute area and she said no those tables are reserved ahead of time. Did I not reserve my table and add notes?
Drink was amazing – Vesper. The waitress Nicole, didnt seem to have been told the notes for our table and also every time she spoke to us kept mentioning her name is Nicole. Chicken was good with the crema. They have such a diverse and allergy friendly menu so I was surprised to be served frozen fries and store bought pickles. Left with a 3/10 experience and I had hyped this place up, it was very disappointing. Best thing about it is the plants ‍♀️
