The place was hopping busy and I think they were short staffed but they still did a decent job in checking in on everyone and food came about 30 minutes after we arrived.
Unfortunately they forgot to get my to go order ready (Banh Mi) but I still got to try vermicelli lemongrass beef with spring rolls and they special Thanh Thy stir fry.
Now we loooooove Vietnamese food. Everything here was fresh and plentiful but it didn’t leave any of really wanting to come back. The food was good but it’s like it was missing that something extra to make it delicious.
Maybe it’s what we ordered and it’s more of a pho speciality place?
Anyhow, healthy fresh and gets the job done for fueling a hockey player.
The salad rolls are made fresh (not pulled from a fridge!), and the Satay Pork Vermicelli was delicious. You can tell the chefs care—even the spring rolls arrived piping hot and fresh from the fryer. Highly recommended for a high-quality, quick lunch.
Will be coming back to try more of the menu!
Our family (adults and kids) went for supper and were pleasantly surprised by this place. It was clean, full, had big booths, and very fave service.
The food was fresh made, hot, and huge portions.
We had spring rolls (very fresh and crunchy), rare beef and beef ball pho (clean broth), spicy beef satay pho (not crazy spicy and actual beef not grizzle), and curry rice plate (massive and so flavourful).
Very well priced. Recommended.
We order the deep fried Tiger shrimp, rice noodle (#53B), sate pho, and #57 (rice, egg and pork chop) these are my favorites so far in the menu. ️❤️
The restaurant is quite big and has a warm atmosphere. Best for family or a group of friends to dine in. Many parking lot ️ in the rear of the restaurant.
Overall 10/10 ❤️
We ordered and paid in person for two soups at 5:18 p.m. (as shown on our receipt). We were quoted an estimated 25-minute wait, yet we remained waiting for over 30 minutes without receiving our order, while multiple customers who arrived after us were served first.
Specifically:
Two dine-in tables that were seated after we paid were served before us.
Two walk-in take-out customers who arrived after us were also served first.
Another take-out customer arrived later and appeared about to be served ahead of us as well.
We waited patiently and said nothing while the first few later customers were served. However, after continued delays and no communication, we stood up to speak with the person who took our order. At that point—only after we expressed concern—the kitchen was finally instructed to begin preparing our food.
By 5:49 p.m., we were still without our order and asked for a refund, which was refused. Our food was not provided until after 5:52 p.m., well beyond the quoted wait time. At no point did staff offer a meaningful apology or explanation; instead, responsibility was deflected onto us.
This situation was avoidable and resulted from poor order management and lack of communication. Being ignored while later customers are served creates understandable frustration. The experience left us feeling dismissed rather than valued as paying customers.
Additionally, the “XL” size offers no additional food content beyond extra broth, which we find misleading.
Due to this experience, we will not return and cannot recommend this restaurant to others.
And to the owner’s response; however, several points require clarification.
First, our wait was not limited to 15–20 minutes. We paid at 5:18 p.m. and did not receive our food until after 5:52 p.m., which exceeds both the quoted estimate and what would reasonably be considered acceptable—particularly when later-arriving customers were served first.
Second, while you state that other customers had called ahead, this does not explain why two dine-in tables seated after us were fully served before we received anything. Our order was placed and paid for in person, and priority should have reflected that.
Third, any language barrier among staff does not change the outcome: our food was not actively prepared until we raised concerns. Regardless of intent, the effect was delay without communication.
Finally, characterizing our response as “yelling” overlooks the fact that we raised concerns only after extended waiting and being repeatedly passed over. Frustration in this context was a direct result of how the situation was handled. A calm explanation or apology at any point could have de-escalated matters, but neither was offered.
We expect accountability and transparency — not deflection — when a service failure occurs.
I am really disappointed that delivery orders not made on time,
Always waiting time is more than 35 to 40 minutes.
Staff not understand the value of other people’s time.
They do as per their priorities.
Very bad experience always when pick up order.
Hope they understand.
