Best Indian food in the city, everything is freshly made and not made with excessive oil. Really embodies homemade cooking and would highly recommend thought it does take a bit to get your food, naan is 10/10

I really wanted to support this family-run spot, but the restaurant was truly so dirty and neglected that it affected my experience and enjoyment of the food. Walls were covered in grime, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time, and there was a layer of dust and dirt on the majority of surfaces. I really hope the kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the restaurant. This spot has a lot more potential as a take-out only establishment and should reevaluate what they view as an acceptable level of customer service and cleanliness.

The atmosphere was too bad and dirty, we ordered butter chicken, veg and non veg biryani and onion kulcha. Only the butter chicken was good rest everything was bad. The naan were literally burnt. They gave us some spicy rice in the name of biryani. The matured guy who was in the front desk was too rude. We asked what do you recommend he was like everything is good just have what you like. The old lady was so polite and good we loved her. And the price was also high. Won’t recommend to anyone.

This is the best authentic Indian food, it’s home cooking, real people. Made me feel like I was sitting in my friend’s mom’s kitchen. Medium = American spicy. Don’t forget the garlic naan and riata, and the mint chutney. I ordered the saag paneer, and it was one of the best I’ve had in this country (that wasn’t made by my friend or her mom, of course)

Food was decent, but forgot any naan (two other tables that got there well before me were in the same boat and we all just gave up lol ). Also, service is painfully slow. It literally took 45min for a small order and just sitting with other folks that were trapped in the same boat unable to leave and no table service.
Inside is definitely dirty as others have said. Not a deal breaker, but when the guy at the front is crazy slow as well… If you could order like 3hrs before and it didn’t have issues (unlikely) it may be worth a try…otherwise skip.

I would highly recommend placing your order in the restaurant to go and then running some errands or bringing something to do with you to pass the time if you plan on dining in. The food here is absolutely excellent, but we spent over two hours here between waiting for a menu and actually getting our food. When we went, the only person there was the older woman cooking all the food. She was very sweet but having to do everything herself wasn’t attentive. She’s super sweet but you can’t do everything yourself (I haven’t met the older man other reviewers have mentioned). I definitely would come back for the food, but not for the service or anything else. We got the naan (made from scratch – so good), butter chicken curry, and chicken biryani. Also, fair warning, the spice level is HIGH. If you think you can handle heat, I would go with medium at the highest. Both my fiancé and I enjoy spicy food but I heard they were heavy on the spice level so I went with mild and he medium. It was almost too much to enjoy for him because the heat was so overpowering.

I had the buttered chicken and the garlic naan. It was marvelous. The texture of the buttered chicken as I ate was impeccable. the garlic naan but it exceeded my expectations. I had enough to eat and take home. I highly recommend this. My meal only took like 20mins tops. Will return to try something new.

Very flavorful. We enjoyed the chicken vindaloo and bhindi masala. “Medium spicy” on the chicken vindaloo lit us up, which is what we wanted… haha. The garlic naan and the tandoori roti were also excellent. Good portions— 2 main dishes were enough to fill us up for supper. The 5-star rating is for the dishes alone. We didn’t care too much about the atmosphere or the customer service. You ring the bell on the counter to get someone to come from the back to take your order or pay. Otherwise, there’s a guy sitting at the counter that basically just sleeps in the chair. We weren’t too bothered by this, especially since we’d read reviews warning us about the customer service. We were just happy to eat delicious Indian food.

The food is spectacular!!!! That’s what you’re there for. The service is what it is. But the food is everything! I will definitely be eating here again…someone should recruit the lady cooking because she throws down. Watch out for spicy ….
