Was a part of a party reserved for 14 people. We were given two tables with six seats, meaning we had 12 seats for our reservation of 14. Paid a $10 per person cover charge. Didn’t see service for 20 minutes. First round of drinks came back 20 minutes after that. I had ordered the gingerbread espresso martini, to my dismay, it alongside two of our other drinks had spilled half its contents on the waitress’ serving tray. I asked if that was “correct” and my waitress shrugged, turned around and walked off. Never saw our waitress again in the two hours we stayed there. Ha d to go to the bar to try for a different drink, but found out the $15 holiday cocktails were all batched, which is not mentioned in the menu at all. Ordered some pizza instead. Cheese pizza was $6.50 a slice, pepperoni $7.50. Never plan to return here.

Decorations were pretty though.

Such a great restaurant with truly wonderful people! Joey, Jenn, Swift, and the rest of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming to our family, especially to our little girl. Whether you’re planning a night out with friends or a family dinner, I definitely recommend this place!

Our waitress was amazing. Whitley was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The food, service, and atmosphere were all 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!
Dan “the photo man” was hilarious — even though his job is to take photos for marketing, he made it part of the fun and added to the great experience.

My friend and I went for the Christmas pop-up “Tinsel Tavern”. Online it states there is a $10 charge for reservations but they charged $10 just to walk in. Sat at a table for at least 8 minutes with no acknowledgement so we moved to the bar. There were only a handful of tables around 6pm and they had a DJ and bingo. The employees gathered at the end of the bar and were too busy socializing to attend to us. We had to ask for another drink after both of our cups sat empty. Buffalo chicken dip was just ok and some chips were stale. It was like Christmas exploded with the decor but there was no holiday spirit. Disappointed and I’m hopeful that some of the other pop-ups are a better experience.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at the Pizza Bar location near Fourth Street Live. I made reservations in advance expecting a holiday-themed atmosphere and a full dining experience. Instead, the environment lacked any holiday cheer and felt like the GRINCH, and the menu was extremely limited, with several listed items unavailable.

The main reason for this complaint is the poor hospitality and lack of communication. Upon arrival, my party was not greeted warmly, and the overall environment was not welcoming. Our order was taken inconsistently, and no one clearly communicated expectations to our table. At no point did a staff member properly explain any time limits or dining policies.

While we were still waiting for our food, a staff member told my party to leave without explanation. Security was called, which was confusing and unnecessary, especially since we had not received our food. If there was a time restriction on tables, that should have been communicated upfront. Likewise, there should be reasonable expectations for how long guests wait for food and time to eat once it arrives.

Throughout the visit, different employees gave us conflicting information, which added to the frustration. This experience reflected very poor hospitality and a serious need for staff training and improved communication.

Based on this experience, I do not recommend this establishment and will not be returning.

Whitley provided exceptional service, ensuring that every glass was never empty. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making it the best experience I’ve ever had. Dan, the photo man, captured the entire experience preserving it for future memories.

The food is decent and comes pretty quick. You have to order at the bar and there is no wait staff. There is also games to play so if you want a nice quiet dinner, don’t go here. The staff were very friendly and nice!

This could actually be a nice place to go to for the holidays but the staff’s energy and service takes away from the entire experience. Especially the female host who works Fridays at 5pm. Not sure what her problem is but probably should just find a new job. Customer service isnt her thing. Also they do not explain the time limit on your reservation and expect you should just know. Instead of communicating it to you they will call 4th street security to tell you.

Drove down from central Indiana for their annual Tinsel Tavern event. The decorations did not disappoint. Everything from the ceiling to the staff was decked. Menu was limited, but the offerings were appropriately holiday themed. We grabbed a pizza, literally fresh-baked holiday cookies, and some hot chocolate. I recommend dressing in authentic or sarcastic holiday fashion for the best experience. It’s a fun atmosphere. Since we had our kids we weren’t able to stay late enough to enjoy the karaoke scheduled to start at 9pm. Someone let me know how funny that gets.
