We have been wanting to visit Khói for years and are so happy the timing finally worked! We arrived around 10:35 AM on a Saturday and were the third group in line. Once the opened, we ordered quickly and got our food in less than 30 minutes.
Everything we ordered was fantastic! The beef rib curry was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, the lemongrass brisket was so flavorful, the bok choy had a delicious sauce, and the Bò lá lốt sausage reminded us so much of having it in Vietnam! If they have the Bánh xèo special you gotta try it— juicy, tender pork and a crispy Bánh xèo.
Truly the perfect fusion of two of our favorite cuisines!

An amazing fusion between Vietnamese cuisine and Texas BBQ; got the curry, Bún Bò Huế and briskets. Get other things besides Pho!!!! They are also delicious meals! The wait is a bit long but worth it.

I have been coming here for years! The food is amazing, front of house is always so friendly and you can tell they really care about the food they put out. The menu can change from time to time, they sometimes add new specials but the must-tries are the beef rib curry and the brisket pho! They also sell their own condiments.

It looks like it is in their backyard which has enough room for people to sit down under a covered patio area and eat there if you like to or you can take it to go.

Ordered the brisket sandwich and brisket pho. Both were absolutely delicious. This is definitely one of Houston’s best kept secret. Come early because they do sell out at times.

Nothing like it. Flavour from the marinated ribs and brisket oh my. Nothing like it before. From the pepper crust on the ribs to the tenderness of the all the meat. Amazing nothing but perfect.

Really good Vietnamese barbecue spot with rich flavors and nicely cooked meat. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions were satisfying. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Prices are a bit higher than some nearby places, but the quality makes up for it. Overall, a great place to try if you’re in the mood for Vietnamese BBQ.

We came for Sunday service and the food was delicious. Julie was wonderful and very helpful about recommendations on the menu. We had the whole hog garlic rice and their brisket. The service was fast and friendly, this spot feels like a fun backyard hangout with a friend making some really badass Viet-Texan bbq. Their playlist was also great and everyone there was in a friendly mood at the shared tables.
