From the moment you step through the door, the aroma is intoxicating – that perfect blend of fresh-baked dough, melting cheese, and roasted garlic hits you like a wave, making it impossible not to feel instantly ravenous.
This establishment has mastered the art of thin-crust pizza in a way that instantly transported me back to Marcello’s in the Four Seasons Mall that closed nearly 15 years ago. The same perfect crust, that distinctive blend of flavors – it’s remarkable how they’ve captured that same magic that made Marcello’s so special.
Their garlic bread is simply outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent – case in point: I ordered two pieces of cheesy garlic toast and they generously included three. It’s these small touches that set them apart. The pizza arrives at your table steaming hot, and while wisdom suggests waiting a minute, self-control inevitably fails – it’s simply too tempting not to dive right in! Since moving away, I’ve made it a point to return whenever I’m in town. Each visit confirms what I already know – this place maintains an exceptional standard that never wavers.
For those who remember Marcello’s at the Four Seasons Mall, you’ll understand the high praise. For those who don’t, trust me – this is pizza perfection that’s increasingly rare to find. Absolutely worth going out of your way for.
An unequivocal five stars. Some restaurants are good; this one is memorable.
This is our new favorite pizza place. We’ve gone here several times and they haven’t disappointed us. We also ordered delivery a few times and the pizza was still great (we live fairly close). I wish they had a chicken bacon ranch pizza.
UPDATE: 03/30/2023
We stopped there again. We ordered the same crust and it was better for me this time. We also decided to try the teriyaki wings. They were cooked perfect and the sauce was good too. I’m not sure if the wings are tossed in the sauce though, seems like they just poured the sauce over the top..? but there was plenty of sauce on the bottom for dipping. We will order the wings again.
02/05/2023: The inside reminds me of a mom-and-pop type, hometown family restaurant. The service was great. The price is competitive. The ingredients have flavor and they put plenty of toppings on the pizzas, especially cheese. I wish I would’ve thought to get a picture of me taking a slice from the pizza because it is that warm, gooey, stringy cheese that’s perfect. I was too excited about diving in that I forgot about a photo. The thin crust was good but it was a little soggy and chewy for my preference. I like some crunch and chewy for my crusts. The table was split 50/50 on the crust. Some thought it was perfect, others thought a little too wet. It was still good though. I also prefer my onions diced not in long shreds. I think the cook was perfect. We will definitely return again to try more! This will be our new pizza place.
