I ordered their shrimp tempura, avocado salad, salmon sushi, dragon roll, and rainbow roll. Avocado salad was good but there were more avocado than the lettuce. Shrimp tempura tasted pre-made. Dragon roll was good but there was excess eel sauce that overwhelmed the taste. Rainbow roll was good, and all the fish tasted good. However, I noticed the rolls are cut unevenly – some bites were way bigger than other bites. For dessert, fried Oreo was good, and the green tea ice cream tasted great, but I chewed on a piece of plastic (image attached), which was not a good sensation. Otherwise, would’ve rated 4 on the food instead of 3.
While this place may be considered good to Memphians, anyone who had conveyor bet sushi at a cheap place anywhere in Tokyo would know it definitely lacks in terms of taste, quality, and presentation, especially for a $75 meal for two. A score of 3 is an appropriate score.
We opted for the All You Can Eat Dinner and were impressed by the variety. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful—especially the ones wrapped in soy paper and topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The spicy garlic edamame, pineapple chicken fried rice, and seafood soup were also standout items. Presentation was on point and everything came out quickly.
Overall, great value, friendly service, and a solid menu with lots of choices. Will definitely come back!
The food is fresh. Order 3 or 4 things each round and just keep ordering.
This isn’t elevated foor, just a good selection of rolls, plenty of sashimi options and 30 or so apps, salads and tempura.
A great place to please everyone in the family from cooked to raw.
Michelle was amazing. Ambiance was great.
Besides that the appetizers etc are also good. As are the rice dishes, hibachi and teriyaki that are also on the all you can eat menu.
We usually do the lunch menu but the dinner menu has more variety and some more interesting twists. And if course there are the tempura oreos. Love em.
Right now trying tempura cheese cake for the first time.
