Had an amazing time at the W. Met the owner/cook who originally hails from South Palm Beach. As we spoke I found out he has over 20 years experience in the chef/restaurant business. As he says, “Pretty much since age 16 it has been my passion”.
The food was so good! Started with the fan favorite Jamaican Patties as was not disappointed. Moved on to the chicken bowl the smell of it made you start to salivate in expectation. It definitely delivered. Afterwards chowed down on the juicy Double Smash Burger and seasoned fries! Totally YUM!

Cute little spot in downtown Parkersburg. The Jamaican patty was the hit of the show! Meat was seasoned very well with a delicious crust. The chicken philly was a tiny bit dry but flavorful; would still order again. The cheese steak needed a little more seasoning but overall it was juicy and filling. Fries were perfectly crispy. Definitely come check this place out

This place was SO good! Everything is made fresh right on the spot, no pre made flash fried anything. It took about 15 minutes to get our order but there were other people who ordered ahead of us. The customer service was amazing. We live closer to Charleston but we will definitely be back. I hope this place thrives!

For the drive that I made and the price, I was disappointed. I put an order in via text at 12:38pm and was told 15 minutes. I arrived almost 35 minutes later and the food wasn’t done. I had to wait around 10 minutes if not longer. I wouldn’t really call it a restaurant. Super small, cramped, and understaffed. I asked for the brisket as lean as possible and 85% of it was fat. I got 3 small pieces. The brisket was absolutely drowned in BBQ sauce. The pickles and the fries were way over seasoned with creole seasoning. The picture attached is the pile of fat from the brisket.

So good! First time eating from here and it was delicious. I had the steak bowl and it was a huge portion and really good. The bro had the pulled pork with fries, and though I didn’t taste his sandwich I did taste the fries and they were super good – they had a little spice to them that made them really pop. My friends said their meals were great as well. We talked to one of the owners while we were there and he was really nice and friendly. The shop itself is cute and had a nice atmosphere. Definitely recomend!

I tried The W Parkersburg for takeout and it was such a good experience! I ordered a Jamaican beef patty, the 2-meat combo with chicken and brisket, and a blueberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The beef patty had great flavor, the chicken and brisket were tender and seasoned perfectly, and the cheesecake was the perfect sweet finish.Definitely worth checking out. I’ll be ordering again!

This is a great little place to visit. The food is tasty and fairly priced. The Jamaican Beef Patty was seasoned with just the right balance of flavor and heat. My wife, a chef, enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowl. We will be back.
