Came here for my mom’s birthday and were were greeted and helped by the extremely friendly and sweet owner! The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy. We got several of the dips and the grape leaves for an appetizer and everything was delicious. For our main meal we got the express meat and an extra serving of the lamb chops – for 5 people it was more than enough food. All the meat was super tender and flavorful. Unfortunately they were out of the Branzino but I’ll be back soon to try it!

Speak about service, Mitch has to be one of the best servers I’ve ever encountered with my dining experience. Offering multiple based on our dietary restrictions and made sure we were fully comfortable. Would definitely recommend the Pyramids and the Lamb Gyro Platter.

If you’re looking for amazing Mediterranean food that never disappoints, Bistro 55 is the spot! I’ve tried quite a few dishes here and each one has been a hit. Their breakfast French toast is super fluffy and moist — plus, the house-made syrup is delicious and makes it extra special. The avocado toast isn’t your typical basic avo toast either — it’s actually worth every bite.
For lunch, I always crave the gyro sandwich — so satisfying and packed with flavor. And when it comes to dinner, it’s honestly hard to choose! The blackened salmon is perfectly cooked, the lemon chicken is so juicy and flavorful, and the lamb kebab is always a winner when I’m in the mood for it.
I haven’t had a single dish here that I didn’t love. The quality is consistent, the flavors are fresh, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Super family friendly with a kids menu even for the picky eaters. Highly recommend Bistro 55 — you’ll want to come back again and again!

We had a wonderful experience at Bistro 55 Mediteranean Restaurant in Flemington, NJ. I brought my girlfriend here to celebrate her 70th birthday and it was the perfect choice. Mo, our server couldn’t have been more accommodating-he seated us at a lovely table by the window, encouraged us to take our time, and never rushed us, which made the evening feel special and relaxed.
We both ordered the lemon checken, which I highly recommend-it was absolutely delicious. Also, I might add my friend is gluten free and they were very accomadating to her needs. On top of that, Mo’s friendly personality and the warm atmosphere made the night even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely go back again.

I absolutely LOVE Bistro 55. The food, ambiance and overall service is incredible. The owner, Mo, is so welcoming and sweet. He recommend the chicken shwarma platter and it was so delicious. The baklava is so flaky and incredible. If you’re a Mediterranean fan like me, this should def be on your list.

Been to Bistro 55 pretty regularly over the past year. I’ve had the kofta kebab, gyro platter, lamb kebab, and bistro mix. Every time the food is delicious and well-prepared. My favorite is the mix because you get a little bit of everything. Service has always been fantastic too, it’s a go to spot for my friends and me. Give it a try if you haven’t! We need more people out on Main Street in Flemington.
