I’ve eaten from here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. The Barria Tacos are so flavorful and tender (9/10), the French Dip was made with a smokey flavor that it is truly scrumptious and unique (8/10). The Chilli was bold and filling (8/10), and the bread pudding is remarkable (9/10), but the friend bread bites are extraordinary and not overly sweet (10/10).

Absolutely delicious and affordable food, with generous serving sizes. Awesome customer service. I’ve tried several items from the menu and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the AMAZING Birria tacos, available on Fridays. So good! I also love the smoked chicken thighs and the ribs. All of their sides, especially the coleslaw are delicious. A must try!

We got pork burnt ends, brisket, coleslaw, and beans. The brisket was tender and had good flavor it was great with their BBQ sauce. The burnt ends were great and had a lot of flavor. The beans were awesome.

This place is honestly THE place for bbq out here in Fairbanks. Its small but man is the food here so good. Worth every penny. Meats always flavorful and tender. Barria tacos are addictive. It will be the one place I truly miss when we PCS. DO NOT MISS OUT

Hole in the wall places to eat usually have the best food! The Rack Shack is that place! The methods and flavors they use will have you saying “now that should be illegal”!

Don’t let the outside fool you. The food is excellent (went there for lunch to try it and went back for dinner)the staff is super friendly, large portions and the prices are great. I’ll be visiting again whenever I get back to Fairbanks!!!

A true Fairbanks gem. Prices are a little high but 100% worth the quality and portion sizes you get. The family running this place is great and you can tell that they put their heart into the food. The ribs, chicken, and brisket are all excellent. I haven’t tried anything yet that I didn’t love.

These are probably some of the greatest people you will ever meet in your life. The fact that they make the best barbecue in Fairbanks, is a bonus.
