Waffle House is a great spot, open 24/7, with plenty of delicious options on the menu. I went for the shredded potatoes with eggs and bacon, and it was absolutely amazing. Perfect place for any time of the day

This Waffle House was very clean outside. The waitress was very friendly and professional and the food was great. They must’ve been super busy before arriving because the restaurant on the inside was pretty dirty. There was a lady sweeping and trying to get it cleaned up. Over all I give this location five stars.

Lacking attention to detail from a customer with a black but sharp nose ring inside of her nose. I simply asked for grape jelly, extra syrups and butter received none of the accommodations after she clearly repeated and stated accommodating me. I am not sure why someone would do that, but this person also tried to charge me extra for the substitution of toast? I always come here and that never happens. I’m pretty disappointed And I believe this was intentional

I absolutely love their hashbrowns with extra cheese and onions! The server was really nice and helpful but the cook was the Rockstar this night! I am a vegetarian but they only have one grill so I asked the cook, Robert, if he would mind just scraping off the right side of the grill where they cook the hashbrowns so that no meat grease would get on my hashbrowns and if he would use clean spatulas too. He not only scraped the grill, he completely scraped and washed down the entire grill! It took him 10 to 15 minutes to clean the whole thing and I appreciated it so much that I tipped him the only 4 dollars I had in my wallet. I tipped the server4.00 on my card but I wanted to make sure Robert got his own tip. He did an amazing job making my two orders of hashbrowns for my daughter and myself, both vegetarians, and they were delicious! I was only out that way because I ordered something from the Home Depot out Westport Rd, I live in Hikes Point, but I would drive out of my way to go back after the awesome service I got. Not many places cater to vegetarians so when you find someone that does, you stick with them. I am not someone who is vegetarian for health reasons. I never liked meat or seafood. I haven’t eaten either one since I was 15 and I’m now 65. I’ve lived a long vegetarian life in a meat eaters world. I have nothing against meat eaters, I just don’t like it myself. I can’t say enough how awesome it was to be catered to this way. Way to go Waffle House, especially Robert! I for one really appreciate you and would give 10 stars if I could! Don’t lose Robert, he’s awesome and deserves a raise! I will be back.

Waffle House just never disappoints. It’s that simple. That’s actually one of the things I like about “The House”… simplicity. A little bit of nostalgia, actual friendly service with a sincere smile, and good food, all washed down with consistently good coffee.
I have been to Waffle Houses, literally all over the US and have never been disappointed even once. #1069, here, is as good as any. This is probably about my tenth time here and… it certainly won’t be my last. Derek did a great job!
Hope to see you here soon.
….. OK, two days later, and I’m back. Five people working inside as a Team, two cleaning and organizing, two cooking, one keeping the several guests happy, and one teammate shoveling snow in the parking lot. I want to say that if Jazz is not a Crew Leader, Shift Leader, or otherwise in an official management role, she should be. Based on uniform, one of the others is, but is so busy and so fast I can’t see their name tag. A great many major restaurants could take lessons from “The House”.

Walked into Waffle House for dinner and unknowingly crossed the threshold into a surreal social experiment about patience. I sat down, and after 3–5 business days a confused young man appeared like a substitute teacher on his first day and took my order. He then gently explained it might be a while… because the cook had just walked out mid-shift, presumably to pursue a quieter life in the mountains.
The grill sat there cold and reflective, like it too was questioning its purpose. The entire restaurant had the energy of a ship whose captain had abandoned it, yet somehow everyone was still pretending this was a normal dining experience. I waited, watching time lose all meaning, half expecting a narrator to step out and explain the lesson I was supposed to learn.
Eventually I left hungry, enlightened, and slightly in awe. Waffle House never disappoints, it’s not a restaurant, it’s an interactive absurdist comedy where the real meal is the story you tell afterward.

Ordered $40 dollars worth of food on a weekday evening! The order total included a mandatory 10% tip for the cook! The bacon was undercooked and inedible, and the hasbrowns with onions were not cooked well, cold in middle, and the onions never touched the grill! If you are going to charge customer’s a “tip” to make up for your company’s poor wage compensation, at least make sure to train those “cook’s” the proper cooking methods and safe food preparation procedures first! Quality inspection- eg: have someone other than the cook lay eyes on what is being sent out the door- wouldn’t hurt either! I don’t expect great quality from Waffle House, but at least expect it to be edible! For the amount of money I spent I will save myself the trouble and order a couple of hot brown’s from somewhere else!

For the location, you would think this place is 1st class. It isn’t, Ive ate at the West end location and it was clean, courteous, and great food. This place had 4-5 employees, all standing around. Served black burnt buns, hash browns, and 1 drink,no refills or secondary checkup by waitress. Floors are extremely gunky with grease buildup.

A crew of sweet beautiful folks served up my favorite comfort food of coffee, waffles, and crispy bacon. Everyone from the Elite server to the new guy were attentive and enthusiastic. They seemed to work well as a team.
