Doug greeted us with a big, sincere smile and kept that same positive energy throughout our meal. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask, checked in at the perfect times without hovering, and made every single interaction feel friendly and personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys his job and cares about the people he’s serving.
I’ll be honest: my family is not the easiest group to wait on, and we know this about ourselves. We ask questions, make substitutions, and can be particular – but Doug handled every request gracefully, patiently, and with a good sense of humor. Nothing ever felt like an inconvenience to him. He made the entire breakfast feel effortless and enjoyable, and by the end, we were all saying how amazing he was.
Service like that can completely elevate an experience, and Doug absolutely did that for us. Keke’s is lucky to have him, and we will definitely be asking for him again in the future. If you’re going to the Ormond Beach location, do yourself a favor and sit in Doug’s section – he’ll make your morning.

Between the food and atmosphere im not impressed with this place. It was ok. I got the southwest omelet and there wasn’t any sort of seasoning. They depended on the jalapeños, tomatoes and cheese to bring out flavor. The water also tasted weird. I wont be going back but it was just ok. The people were great and I have 0 complaints about them. They wete happy and our server was funny but even he cant make the food taste better.

My friend and I both ordered the pick your own breakfast but the waiter must have entered it wrong because we were charged for everything individually. It was $50 for a waffle, two eggs, some bacon, french toast, and fruit. The meal was very tasty although a bit lacking in portions especially for the price. But it’s in a nice area and tasted good so not bad for a birthday breakfast.

I was driving, Google searched a different restaurant for directions. I guess a sponsored ad for this place (with directions option) popped up. I didnt notice and clicked it. Keke’s was 20 minutes outside of my route, and not worth it. Limited options for breakfast, no sausage patties, just links. When my male companion companion said no coffee, just water, the waitress just brought us both water. I guess its the 1930s and Im not allowed to order for myself? She never came to check on us after taking the order and delivering food. I guess we were only allowed the one glass of water. The place wasn’t even that busy. Food wasnt bad but nothing to write home about. I absolutely will not visit again.

I wish I could give 10,000 stars for service! My family and I went to Keke’s in Ormond Beach this morning for breakfast and our waiter was Doug, he was wonderful. So pleasant, well spoken, and quite funny. The food was also delicious, it was a wonderful way to end my vacation in Florida before heading home to North Carolina. I hope Doug sees this or someone can pass the word on to him, we really appreciated his kindness and excellent service this morning.

The omelette is as expected. Nothing different, no flourish, just simple.
They did a good job with over medium egg, which lots of places undercook. The grits were well done.

My wife and I have become regulars for lunch at Kike’s in Ormond Beach. The menu includes my favorite dish, a tuna & fresh fruit salad that is low-calorie but oh-so-satisfying. My wife typically gets eggs and bagel. The service is outstanding, and the management and wait staff are all exceptional. And prices are excellent. Kike’s has leveled up the lunch experience in our town!
