Ordered pork belly and spring rolls.
First off looked and smelled great. Spring roll pastry was thick and chewy almost like frozen and refried but tasted ok, could only eat one as when they got cold (2 mins after delivery) they became inedible, solid like a rock so not pleased with those.
Then the pork belly and egg stew I ordered, the jasmine rice was ok, pretty sure it was a micro bag however the real issue was the pork. I understand that it’s a fatty cut but when you don’t get a single piece of meat and only lumps of fat and one egg it’s very off putting. I pulled out the ‘meat’ and out of the 7 pieces in the dish, all 7 were fat only. I was excited to try this place but I’ve been left disappointed, hungry and out of pocket. Don’t order here unless you want to order replacement food from elsewhere.

We stumbled on this restaurant by chance and it was an amazing surprise. Food is amazing, portions are generous, and staff are helpful, quick and friendly. We also have some food intolerances and they managed to accommodate our requests without any issues. Five stars and more!!!

I have eaten at this restaurant for 3 years. I can accept the price increase every year, but I find it is getting less and less. I uploaded the photos I took before. It disappointed me. I will not recommend friends to come to this restaurant. I hope the boss will see my evaluation and correct it. One time I ordered a large portion but they gave me a small portion. I immediately questioned it and the waiter asked the chef, who said that was the way it was. Although his food is delicious, I eat less and less of it, and I don’t want something like this to happen again next time I come.

I’ve been before and it was fine. But this will be the last time. The food is tasty but I don’t want to pay for a large portion and receive a small portion of noodles, tiny shredded beef, lots of broth in a large bowl, hardly worth the price.
If you’re in the west end there’s far better places for pho.
Really disappointing!

The noodles were AMAZING – but CAREFUL SPICY!!
I specifically asked not spicy and it was (for me) very spicy. But the waitress uurii gave me a drink for free when she saw me struggling and that is 10/10 customer service. Thank you for the amazing food.

Recommendation: fried spring roll ❤️

My daughter chose here for her birthday meal. Really glad she did.
It’s a small place but the food is amazing. Wonderful, friendly service too.
Can’t recommend the summer rolls or pho enough. The deep fried ice cream is a bit naughty but tasty.
Book ahead, it’s very popular.

The food was excellent, portions were large and each dish tasted really distinct (we ordered 3 different soupy dishes and each was delicious, with really tender beef slices). We also enjoyed the summer rolls and vegetable salad. Can’t recommend the food enough. Gave a 4 for the atmosphere because there was a slighty unpleasant smell in the restaurant, but we quickly adjusted to it. Otherwise loved it.

Excellent food! Had to review this one too, the quality is great in both restaurants. I am a faithful customer from now!
Update: just got the banh mi(baguette) and the goi cuon(spring roll). The banh mi was super spicy(just as I like it) the goi cuon could do with a shrimp option and some vietnamese pickles, other than that, superb!
Update 2: Got the fried shrimp, which was unfortunately a flop for my taste. I also got the Beef Curry with rice, it was really good, but it was served with carrots instead of potatoes. It’s not a thing I would remove stars for, but just to let you know what to expect.

Just a FYI – one reviewer said this place is all vegan. It isn’t. Though there are vegan options.

Anyway, the vermicelli and pho taste was good. The pho is a more northern Vietnamese style in flavor and noodle, so expect a lighter broth than a southern style. The portions of the pho however are really disappointing – the large is about 15 or 16 pounds, and I’ve literally never seen a pho place give such a small bowl of pho.

Sit down, order “rare beef pho” and SHUT UP. This is the only Vietnamese restaurant in Glasgow where they never skimp on the portions — ESPECIALLY how much delicious beef gets loaded into your bowl of pho. When the menu says Large…it means large.

They will serve food fresh here, they do not mess around. The Pho is always served fresh and at one very specific temperature: perfection.

If you -like the staff at this place- ever grow tired of tasting perfection then I strongly suggest you order the char-grilled chicken. You will thank me later. I will make the argument that this restaurant’s char-grilled chicken is the single best dish one can experience in Glasgow.

If you are vegan, then I don’t hold that against you.

Pay with cash, leave a tip and always order the cooked beef pho for your pregnant wife.

Sincerely,
Regular customer
