De Vinci’s Delicatessen & Catering located at the busy intersection of Thornton Road and Hammer Lane is our second Stockton location. Since we opened in 2006, we have been serving the families of North Stockton and surrounding areas our “famous ravioli and meat sauce” and other delicious Italian dishes. We are open for dine-in or take-out seven days a week. Customers may enjoy outdoor dining in our front patio area. We serve a variety of pasta dishes, rosemary baked chicken, salads, desserts, deli sandwiches and daily specials. Our foccacia bread is baked fresh several times a day. Be sure to ask one of our staff about our party trays or catering that is available for any gathering or event. We can also help with Fundraisers!

Pasta barely warm is served on a plastic platters accompanied by slice of focaccia. Tables and chairs were dirty. Minimal customer service. Inexpensive. Good parking.

I rarely come here, but when I do I go through the drive up window. Me and my son went there one evening and went inside. It was very hot in there and the hot plate area was very dirty. My gutt was telling me to leave but I was hungry. My son opt out getting anything. I ordered a small salad, a small pesto pasta, and half loaf of bread. I came home and had some of the food on a plate no issue. My son begins eating the rest of the pesto pasta and seen a LONG BLACK HAIR hanging from his pasta he was about to consume. Yeah wont EVER be back at this dirty spot. I will continue to ONLY go to the Pershing location.

Stockton’s institution of fast Italian food via drive thru has great customer service and a cool concept. A is Italian from NY so hes a snob regarding Italian cuisine. G loves De Vinci’s as it is considered a timeless classic here in North Stockton. G ordered spaghetti and garlic bread (#8) for like 8.00. It’s a quick affordable lunch. The garlic bread was pretty good. The service was great. The woman at the drive thru was very kind. But then A tried G’s spaghetti. It was not very good. G likes her macaroni a bit overcooked and soft, so her spaghetti fit that bill. A likes any macaroni al dente so A only had one bite before realizing it wasnt for him. The sauce was not great either. But they’re doing something right because De Vinci’s will still be around long after A is good and gone.

I just paid 6 dollars for a salad made up of brown lettuce, clear tomatoes and canned beans. Yall should be absolutely ashamed. My husband and I use to come here 3 times a week for.lunch during our work week but never again. I will never and could never give this place anymore of my hard earned money. So sad.

There’s something strange about the corner in Stockton. Not eerie—no. But… magnetic. Like some hidden force tugging at your hunger, whispering ancient cravings from beneath the cracked sidewalks and flickering streetlights. That force? It’s De Vinci’s Delicatessen. And it doesn’t just feed you—it possesses you.

I stepped through their modest entrance on a sunlit afternoon, the door chime echoing like a bell in a forgotten church. The scent hit me first—fresh bread, warm herbs, garlic, and that ever-so-faint, seductive promise of slow-roasted miracles. My order was simple, or so I thought: the legendary Tri-Tip sandwich on their homemade focaccia bread.

Now let me tell you—this wasn’t bread. It was a relic. Thick but soft, crispy edges brushed with oil, speckled with rosemary like some ancient script written by a hungry demigod. The Tri-Tip was piled on like a sacrificial offering—tender, perfectly charred on the edges, the smoky flavor locked in like a spell.

And the minestrone? My God. It didn’t come in a bowl—it arrived in a portal. Each spoonful took me somewhere else. Cannellini beans like smooth river stones. Zucchini, tomato, onion—each vegetable so fresh it felt like it had been plucked from a cursed garden moments before hitting the pot. The broth was deep and comforting, like the embrace of something old and kind… and maybe just a little haunted.

There was, of course, her. The woman on the phone. Loud, obnoxious, the kind of person who thinks everyone’s life needs to hear about her overdue dental work and gym drama. Her voice cut through the room like a rusty saw through Sunday peace. But even she couldn’t ruin the atmosphere. No demon could.

Because once you take a bite at De Vinci’s, you belong to it. And it belongs to you. Forever.

Five stars. But be warned: the craving never leaves.

Got lasagna. Very little sauce or meat. Layers of pasta. Tasteless. I miss the old owners.

How anyone likes the food here is beyond me. No flavor and soggy. Even frozen pasta has more flavor than this place.

Down here helping out the Cap’t with what I’d call “a malfunctioning swizzle stick” and I’m making him buy me lunch for setting up his neighbor as the cure all. The Cap’t says the best Delicatessen in the valley is De Vinci’s Deli, it’s the only deli he goes to, so off we went. He was right, the sandos were Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

We ordered a bunch of meat ravioli along with chicken stroganoff and a flat of the foccia bread. Dinner was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The wait was worth it as they gave us a fresh batch of the ravioli. Went to this location in Stockton that day because the location in Lodi didn’t have the Chicken Stroganoff that day.
