If you’re anywhere near a P. Terry’s Burger Stand, do yourself a favor and pull in. The food was excellent — fresh, hot, and exactly what a classic burger joint should taste like. You can literally smell the goodness before you even get to the counter.
The service was just as impressive: short lines, quick turnaround, and every interaction came with a genuine smile. It’s the kind of place that feels simple in the best possible way — no fuss, just really good food done right.
10/10, would absolutely swing back through.

This location consistently has friendly staff who are genuinely happy to serve. Today around 4:40, I stopped by for a quick bite, and Lizzeth was working the second drive-thru line in the freezing cold. Despite the weather, she was incredibly kind and friendly. Her positive attitude truly impressed me, especially given how cold it was. Please allow her to wear a heavy jacket—she absolutely deserves it! She was a delight to interact with, and thank you for having such an amazing team. The woman taking orders in the drive-thru was also very polite and courteous.

The restaurant has a great vibe, it’s clean, welcoming, and well-designed, making it a comfortable place to hang out. The service is also pretty good, with friendly and efficient staff who keep things moving smoothly. However, the food itself is underwhelming. The burgers and fries lack the flavor and quality expected from a place that prides itself on fresh ingredients. Plus, the burger was way smaller than I thought, it was smaller than my palm. (a picture is taken) Now, I’m not sure if that’s normal, but if it is, then I’m not a fan of it. If you’re looking for a chill place with good service, P. Terry’s is worth a visit, but if food quality is your priority, there are better options.

I’m an Uber driver and it’s tough out here. Finances are low but to go to P Terry’s and get a meal like I can get from them for under eight dollars and then get a hamburger with grilled onions on it for under four dollars under 350 amazing I recommend pete Terry to any person who visits Austin or live here. It’s the best food I’ve eaten in this area in a long time.

They’re food is delicious. They offer Black Angus beef on their menus thats free of hormones, fillers, and antibiotics. Strawberry milkshakes & banana bread are yummy. There’s not that many fast food restaurants that have Big Red soda & I always get Big Red Soda

My egg burger with bacon’s bun was incredibly soft, cheese completely melted, had wonderfully prepared bacon, and a moist scrambled egg.
The potatoes were good & bad. Some were soft on the inside and others were dry. Everything is made fresh, so it’s possible the drive home caused some potatoes to dry out.
Service was top-notch! Major shout out for Minique and Danielle for making me know I’m and will always be a valued customer! This was my first visit to a P. Terry’s. I’m definitely coming back.

DoorDashed this so I took it into account. I’m sure the fries would be more crispy and the shake would have been less Melty if we got it in person. With that said, I thought it was a good burger. I’d be happy coming back but would make sure to go in person next time.

This location does not have inside seating so I apologize for the food picks in my vehicle. Nonetheless P Terry’s never disappoints. Love their burgers fries, cookies, and my favorite surprisingly the grilled chicken burger is truly amazing. The food is fresh Everytime, service is always friendly, P Terry’s is in the regular rotation among burger joints. Hard to pick a favorite but this is top 5 fast food burgers.
Thank you

The people here are very kind. There was a 9-year-old kid ordering in front of us and I noticed his clothes were a little torn and he was paying in cash. I asked to pay for him. Turns out he’s from Venezuela so I shared with him that I grew up in South America too. The kicker is that when it was my turn to order, the folks inside gave me a free milkshake and cookie just because I showed kindness. So they also showed generosity and I think this is how we make the world better.
Note about the physical location:
Only two park benches outside and a walk up window to order of you want to “dine in,” otherwise this is drive-thru only.
