I used to buy chicken and vegetable mix here but yesterday after taking the take out food and tried to eat it. The vegetables has steel brush on it,good I wasn’t able to swallow it. And good it my kids didnt ate any vegetables. And the chicken wasnt fully cook the inside was still raw….Not gonna buy from this place anymore..

I have always gone to Marcela’s for their Peruvian Chicken, when I am not in the mood to cook dinner. Their Peruvian Chicken is 10/10!!!! However, today, I was in the mood for breakfast, happened to be in the area, and decided to order to Breakfast Special, which came with 2 pieces of steak, 2 fried eggs, rice and beans, refried beans, avocado, plantains, and la crema, and tortillas for $20! All I am going to say is if you are ever in temple hills, by the bowling alley, please stop by Marcela’s, you will not be disappointed! Fyi, do not mind my picture, lol. As soon as I ordered my food for Togo, it smelled so good, I had to take a couple of bites in the car! However, the portions were very generous!

I order tho DoorDash app to get a Soup, the the delivery person came to me I immediately open my food and when I was trying to get it to a bowl I saw these piece of meet which concerned me because usually when I has ordered I get like 2 good Pieces which it didn’t bother me that much, but when I saw the meet they put I was mad because I spend like almost $20 for that food just to get fat on it and not being able to eat it. So I has to get from my work just to go to the restaurant and complain about cuz there’s was no way I was paying that mucho of money for the food plus the rice portion they put I barely has rice on it. So if you wanna save money don’t order soups in there and always make sure you see what you got.

Talk about waiting for 40-50 minutes for a family of 5 if your the patient type then you’ll be fine but what really got my eye is we got there and not much people were there then while we waited more and more people came and there food kept coming and coming and all I got to say in my language is “ qué se ponga las pilas y deja con sus mamadas”

Coming from out of town, we were looking for something local and different than we had back home. The food was amazing and the young man that waited was very helpful when we had questions. The Peruvian chicken was absolutely delicious as well as the friend plantains. Highly recommend!

I walked in and was unwelcomely greeted once I said hello. I asked for a menu and both ladies looked through me then back at each other with a disgusted look. Guess not used to a gringo walking in the door…. I seen where this was going so I just left. Next time I’ll bring my Hispanic friends and then maybe I can get treated like a customer.

The food is amazing.I only had the chicken with the rice.But everything in here is good.I heard I have a mexican friend and he loves their food and I love it too.So if you’re mexican spanish, you know whatever you are, it doesn’t matter, go try their food.It is good and they have fresh tea, fresh drinks that they made on their own.Their food is really good.Five stars.Now the menu is in spanish, but they will help you to get what you want

When I first found this place years back it was great. The food is still good but the service is bad. Also they have raised their prices drastically but it does not reflect on the menu prices. Once they bring the check, they tell you the prices have gone up. Last but not least, the food has made me sick the last two times I have been there. The place doesn’t look the cleanest and that doesn’t bother me but the fact that I have gotten sick the last two times have made me concern. I’ll probably go back again but if I get sick again, then I am done with this place.
