This was Masala Wok rebranded as IFL.
Crispy Corn – extra salty and oily.
Chicken 65 – Full of red food color. No flavour.
Samosa – Decent and good
Aloo tikki chaat – decent taste but too much chickpeas.
Chicken wings – Flavour Ok but not crispy.
Fried items have lot of residual oil , you can feel the oil in your fingers and on the plate.
Nice ambiance, attentive staff, quick service, place kept clean.
We tried
Thai Dynamite – as usual star item.
Chicken Tandoori – worth for the price. Mango salad is refreshing, avoid choosing plain rice on the side as it wont go well with tandoori.
Mutton ghee roast biryani – it a boneless mutton ghee on bagara rice.
Nalla maram chicken – actually out of stock but replaced with chicken wings (tikka habanero) – not having that kick from habanero as tikka sweetness dominates.
Tikka Sauce
I especially enjoyed the ghee roast chicken—it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back!
I had the goat biryani which was unlike the usual crazy masala fare you get in Dallas these days, so I stopped eating biryanis and switched to pulavs. Now IFL has made me a biryani convert again.
I also had the tandoor chicken was moist and grilled to perfection. Not sure how they achieved that level of consistency and deliciousness.
I wish IFL the very best and am recommending it to all my friends.
