The ramen was underwhelming. We both got No. 10 Spicy tonkatsu. Was expecting some thing creamier. The egg was hard boiled and not very well marinated, it lacked flavor. The corn was standard. Those things are an additional $2 each to add to the ramen, so they should be flavorful and on point.
The service was attentive and quick. No complaints there.
Atmosphere is trendy. If you’re into loud (but good) music in a trendy setting to eat ramen then you’ll enjoy it. If your looking for more of a cozy yummy experience look somewhere else.
This place kinda kicks the ramen craving, but leaves you unfulfilled.

Hair in my Ramen.
I ordered for delivery. I took a bite and pulled a long piece of hair out my mouth. I thought it was mine so I let it go. A few seconds later, I pulled another long piece of hair out my mouth and I let it go Again, thinking, maybe it was my hair. The third piece of hair I flashed my light on it because it felt very hard and thick, and it was a long white piece of hair. When I called them, they didn’t offer to do anything and they never called me back. Also, when I dine in one time and had the cucumbers for an appetizer, it was dipped in a watery sauce that tasted like cleaning products. Their service is terrible and you have to be real disgusting to have a bunch of pieces of old white thick hair not just one but a bunch in someones food. You guys need to do better!

My last experience here wasn’t great so I hadn’t returned to eat at Ani Ramen in three years. I’ll definitely be coming back after today! Vante, our server, was fantastic, warm, and patient. I almost knocked over the table onto him and he took it in good humor! My boyfriend and I arrived near closing and he didn’t mind at all. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was amazing, the broth was rich and flavorful and the pork belly was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pork belly bao buns were good as well. The noodles were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh! I highly recommend coming here for ramen and ask for Vante!!!!

Normally I love this place. But today’s take out experience sucked. We ordered a chef’s special and a vegan ramen extra spicy. When we got home, neither broth were marked so we couldn’t figure out which was which. We called and the person who answered described the broths but they were wrong. The manager came on and completely dismissed the issue that one of us couldn’t eat meat. Don’t play with people’s dietary reactions!! We were refunded but the manager’s poor attitude left much to be desired. Lesson here, check the orders before leaving the restaurant.

Tried this branch during a Yelp event and we started with Edamame and Japanese cucumbers which were very good starters – tasty with one crunchy and one soft. Next we got the Chicken Karaage and Shishito peppers which were nicely flavored and had this nice sweet and savory thick sauce to dip in. And then the shrimp bao which was the most enjoyable for me that night. Crunchy batter and soft buns with good sauces.
The Shoyu ramen was good too but I actually was expecting something a little creamy. Good nonetheless but may not be the very best. I know I had their miso and chef special before in Montclair and I enjoyed those.
Nevertheless, a good spot for Ramen. Wish they had takoyaki though.

This was our first time dining her and the shrimp boa buns and pork belly buns were in fire(amazing) My husband ordered the chicken chefs special & it was over the top and didn’t disappoint at all. The depth of flavor with the broth was smooth as silk and had so much umami. My Crispy chicken bowl was out of this world. As for the chef/chefs; great job. Welcome to the community. What an asset this place is.
Lastly, Vante, our server was so sweet, great smile and so knowledgeable & gave such great recommendations.
We’ll definitely be back. Thanks a million!

My kids enjoy the ramen here. I wish it’s a little less salty. We usually order the broth-less ones to try to reduce salt consumption. The service is good and staff are helpful.

The vibes 10/10. I’ve been to a couple of different Ani Ramen locations and the summit location is my new favorite.
The specials menu is something you definitely need to take a look at and try (the bao buns and gyoza) but also don’t forget to try their regular appetizers and Ramen. Big ups to the GM, John, for making our experience enjoyable as he recommended several dishes that became our new go-tos. The servers brought out the food quickly and they were very attentive to our needs and made the experience all the more enjoyable. Definitely love the Halloween decorations! Looking forward to coming back.
Note: location is BYOB so I recommend the Yuzu lemonade as a mixer!

Clean and simple set up. Greeted upon entry with very upbeat professional staff. Nothing spectacular about taste, I’ve lived in Korea and Japan so of course my expectations are high but it wasn’t bad nor the presentation. Soy chicken glazed buns are beautiful but need some flavor…pickled onion maybe ♀️, the Ramen was pretty decent…would come again when in the area.
