We had our rehearsal dinner here the Thursday prior to the wedding, and it was a great experience. The entire staff was great, food was delicious and timely and drinks were great too. Meredith did a great job going over all the details and making sure everything was perfect for the night. I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone for a function or just for a nice night out.

The hostess was polite and extremely hospitable, the staff was energetic and eager to make my stay welcoming and my waitress did a fantastic job with no complaints! We have visited here several times and had a decent experience. On our latest visit, we sat in the bar. They were busy so it took a while to bus our previously used table. The server wiped half the table, we politely asked her to clean up the water rings left by the previous customers which she did. I ordered a beer of the chalkboard. They didn’t have it. My wife asked for a wine list and the waitress wanted to know what kind she wanted (Red or White)??. After a few minutes she brought us a list (Red and White) and my wife ordered a glass off the list(they didn’t have it). At this point (20 minutes into our visit) we decided this wasn’t working out to well and nicely told the waitress we were probably going elsewhere. We told her she looked very busy and thanked her. I assume she conveyed the message to the bar staff because, on our way out, one of the male staff decided to yell very loudly and wave at us (Good Bye, Have a great Day) which he mockingly repeated several times. Very juvenile and unprofessional. This guy needs some adult supervision.

We had the Monday night three course dinner for two with a bottle of wine for $60. Everything was well prepared, well seasoned and generous portions. We wished we could have run up the bill a little more, but we were so full and happy!

Well I read all of the reviews and I have to say for those who had a bad experience maybe you should try it again. I thought the service and the food was very good. Yes we had to wait for our meals but given the fact that each plate was prepared and presented so well and the flavour of everything so well done…..I don’t mind waiting for something that is visually appealing and absolutely delicious! GOOD FOOD TAKES TIME! Great Job to all involved!

Hostess was extremely rude. Very bazaar behavior. She was very impatient and annoyed the entire night. Come to find out, she was the manager! However, our server was very pleasant and made every effort to make up for all the short comings of the restaurant; unpleasant bartender, mixed up menus, very slow kitchen prep for only having 6 entrees,, but food very good. We gave this restaurant a second chance but will not go back. Too many other restaurants to choose from with much better management.

Female bartender Friday at 7…very rude, annoyed we were there, never introduced herself to us or gave nightly specials like she did with others after we got there. We would have had dinner but never asked. Took menu away after we ordered drinks. We were excited about trying a new place but we will stick to Barker Tarvern! Oh yes, we were the only people at the bar at that point, I wonder why!!

Limited menu, too much dressing on our salads, very limited craft beer selection and the fish tacos smelled fishy. We liked the atmosphere but would not rush back for the food. Too bad because we have been talking about going there and finally stopped in for dinner.

Wonderfully decorated to give a very home like feel. The bar area is so comfortable and warm. The food was excellent and also well presented. A tad on the pricey side but well worth the money!

Hook and Harvest is Amazimg! My husband , sister , brother in law and I finally got a chance to dine there last week. The food is delicious and the service was flawless!
