Nook Kitchen is absolutely exceptional, truly speechless good. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, incredibly flavorful, and 100% worth every penny. You can taste the care and intention behind the food.
We had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners, Nicholas, which made the experience even more special. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic, attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. Honestly, everyone we interacted with was welcoming and lovely, which made the whole evening feel elevated yet comfortable.
I also loved the complimentary valet (such a nice touch), and while it does get very busy as the night goes on, the atmosphere remains beautiful, casual, and inviting, never overwhelming.
This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. A true Arcadia gem, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Wish I took more pictures!!

Used my Amex quarterly Resy credit for lunch here — honestly, Resy really needs to add more restaurants in AZ because our options are so limited. Tried this spot for the first time since it had a solid 4.6 on Google… sadly I think we must’ve hit an off day.

Service? Fantastic. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive — truly the highlight of the meal.
Food? Eh… not so much.

Here’s what we tried:
*Arancini: Not crispy, overcooked rice, and just missing flavor.
*Meatballs: Pretty good, but nothing to rave about.
*Caesar salad: Passable.
*Cacio e Pepe: Pasta was overcooked and seriously lacking that peppery punch. Isn’t that literally the whole point of the dish?
*Chicken: According to my husband, one of the worst dishes he’s had.
*Banana pudding: The star of the show! Honestly, this dessert and the service was their saving grace.

Ambiance was simple and comfy — your standard neighborhood spot, nothing fancy. Would I go back? Nah. But hey, at least my Resy credit didn’t go to waste!

This was a great place for a date night with my wife. The food was pretty good. My wife ordered the Alfredo (with salmon), and I ordered the Sunday Gravy. The Alfredo was made to near perfection, with a creamy base and perfectly done noodles. I was slightly disappointed with the Sunday Gravy. There were a lot of rougher bites where I had to pick out tendons from the meat, and it disrupted my meal for sure.

The service was very good. We were never waiting for too long or wondering when we would be helped. They were very prompt.

As far as value goes, I’d say things were slightly overpriced for the quality of food. It was okay, but I’m not sure I would go here again, unfortunately.

This is not our first time at Nook, but it is the first time we came for lunch. We were celebrating my daughter‘s birthday and there were six of us. As always, the service was spot on and the food was great. We ordered the mushroom pizza with spicy sapperssata (like pepperoni only better), meatball sub, the spicy capicola sandwich, and the wagyu cheese burger. Other than the burgers the food was amazing. The capicola sandwich was piled high, the meatball sandwich was huge and of course the pizza was amazing (star of the show if you ask me). They saw we were celebrating so they offered a free dessert to my daughter and she ordered the banana pudding and we also ordered the pineapple fritters and both were super delicious.
I highly recommend Nook, but probably stay away from the burger. Also note they automatically add gratuity to parties of six or more.

This is a comfortable, neighborhood, food-forward Italian -American Cafe with above-average food and service. There is very limited parking so use the complimentary valet service, which is recommended. You can choose regular table seating, “hi-top” or bar seating. The happy hour is 4-6 I think and is a good value with deals on drinks, appetizers and pizza. But even during happy hour you can expect to spend $30-40 with drinks & appetizers. We shared the brussel chips and fried calamari which were both very good. The pizzas are large and really can serve two otherwise you’ll definitely be bringing some home. And speaking of doggy bags, the servers pack your food for you which is something I wish more restaurants would do instead of tossing a box on your table for you to have to manage on your own. The servers are attentive but not overbearing and the owner(?)/manager(?) really seems to be paying attention. The Nook is a nice break from so many cookie cutter chain places (eg the Fox clones) and if you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed by giving it a try. RECOMMEND

Trendy, vibey spot with a fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed the pizza dough—it had a great texture—but the sauce and overall flavor of the pizza itself felt a bit average. The wine selection was solid, and the service was friendly and attentive. We also tried the capicola sandwich but were underwhelmed: there was far too much bread compared to the small amount of meat, and the aioli’s flavor didn’t really work for us. On the bright side, the house-made chips were excellent—perfectly seasoned and wonderfully crunchy. Overall, I’d come back to give one of the Bianca pizzas a try, as those looked especially appealing.

My wife and I were on an overnight trip to Phoenix and wanted to find a nice place to eat dinner. After a quick search the Nook came up as a suggestion.
While driving we passed a few other restaurants, but followed through with our choice and we were not disappointed.
The atmosphere, service and food were all amazing.
Definitely going to go back next time we’re in the Valley.

Amazing experience. Was initially drawn in through the Resy app is part of the new AMEX rewards. Was the best meal we have had in a long, long time and the service was great. The 3 course dinner was great. Choose an app, pasta or pizza, and dessert for $44. Left so full and happy.

My experience was a little above adequate. Service was great and there was no wait for my reservation. For the price I paid, I did expect to receive a larger portion of food. The food tasted mostly okay. I had Bucatini, and it came out just below warm. The sauce didn’t seem hot enough to keep the pasta hot, so the entire dish became lukewarm within a few minutes. In spite of this, I would consider coming back and trying their other options.
