I don’t frequent this area often, and this was my first time attempting to order here. When I approached the counter, I looked at the menu board but had a few questions about the ordering process. There were two employees engaged in a conversation. I said “excuse me” and tried to ask for assistance, but I was repeatedly directed back to the menu board without my question being addressed.
When I attempted one final time to ask for clarification, I was told, “Look at the board, ma’am. By the time you get to us, you should know what you want.” As a first-time customer unfamiliar with the process, that response felt dismissive and unwelcoming.
Customer service plays a huge role in whether people return, and unfortunately, this experience made it clear that my business was not valued. I chose to keep my money and leave. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to improve the level of professionalism and customer care provided to future guests.

I was looking for a vegan gluten-free lunch at the airport. I got a make-your-own salad with baby greens lettuce, cucumber, tofu, tomatoes, corn, peanuts, avocado, onions, carrots, cilantro, and a vinaigrette dressing. They didn’t have any tofu today, and the dressing could have been a little more flavorful, but I’m thankful to find a safe food option here at the airport. The server was friendly, quick to help me, and even pointed out another restaurant that had tofu if I wanted some. I’d definitely come again!

Had to show some love. The older woman with the grey locs was so sweet. Yes the staff was talking when I arrived but I politely asked how I order once there was a lull in conversation and they were very quick to serve me.
Fresh food, the spicy peanut dressing is not spicy tho (which I actually needed today). Great choice around a lot of rich and dense other food options. AFFORDABLE TOO – $11.55 when many things at other restaurants here are $15-$20 minimum.

Twice I’ve gotten takeout from City Greens while my flight was boarding, they were quick and servers are always so sweet. They packed my bags with all the utensils I needed and pointed me to the napkin dispenser to grab napkins for my flight.
I’ve gotten the Thai Peanut Salad and BBQ chicken wrap, both are good! Super reasonable option if you’re flying Southwest and there’s no food on your flight.

Service was terrible, worker wouldn’t even come to the cashier to take our order and wouldn’t give an extra bag after sauce spilled, we had to insist for one. The wrap was so bad we threw it away.

After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, the employee was dismissive of my severe nut allergy and refused to change gloves between customers. Save yourself the wait, and get a grab-and-go sandwich instead.

It’s almost impossible to believe that you can find a fresh, delicious and great price salad in an airport and I found it and I know that was delicious because MAKETA MADE IT WITH LOTS OF LOVE❣️

I often visit another restaurant that makes healthy choices for travelers. This was nowhere near it in terms of quality or service. While waiting to order, the server kept glancing at me and seemed irritated or bothered that I wanted to order. When I ordered a wrap, she told me that she didn’t know what was on it and asked me to read out the ingredients from the menu. Even so, she missed some of the ingredients. She put the wrong dressing on the ingredients as well! It tasted nothing like a southwest wrap and was very messy to eat, especially compared to other places I’ve been. It was expensive and not very good. There are better options at MSY.

Yikes, turn around, keep walking — avoid this rude staff at all costs or else you may end up like me waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have them tell you they’re not taking anymore orders when it’s your turn. It was 12:30 pm — lunchtime.

I walked back by 5 minutes later and it’s open with two new much more professional staff. They were very apologetic and kind and ended up paying for my salad. Took this from 1 to 4 stars. I
