This place always looks empty, but I promise it’s not! I’m pretty sure it is a first-generation Greek family that owns it. The food is absolutely fantastic, very authentic. It is quiet, no loud music. The service isn’t always the best, but its an older woman who seems to be enjoying life and I’m here for it. Definitely recommend.

Oh my goodness I can’t say enough about how much I love this place and the owner. The most kind and sincere family runs this restaurant, and the food is made with love. I wish I could go here a few times per week but it’s a little from from my home. I hope everyone will try this family run restaurant and share in the love. God bless.

5 Stars – The Gyro Platter at Zary’s Acropolis is a Game-Changer!

If you’re craving authentic Greek food, Zary’s Acropolis needs to be at the top of your list. I came in curious—and left completely hooked. The star of the show? The gyro platter. Absolutely unreal.

The gyro meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and had that slightly crispy edge that only comes from being freshly sliced off the rotisserie. Every bite was rich, savory, and packed with flavor. Paired with pillowy, warm pita bread and the creamiest, most garlicky tzatziki I’ve ever had—it was perfection.

The sides were just as impressive.

The atmosphere at Zary’s Acropolis is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. You can tell they take real pride in their food and service.

Highly, highly recommend the gyro platter—it’s one of those meals you’ll be thinking about long after the last bite. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Me and my family went here. I use the restroom first which is absolutely disgusting, flooded floors and pee and poop on the toilet seats and no locks on the stalls. Made me not want to eat but we decided to anyways. Got our food an hour later and my son couldn’t eat his chicken strips and said they tasted bad. We tried them and they were bad. My husband expressed he didn’t order what was brought out but kept it because he thought he could eat it. Turned out really nasty as well. The French toast was not good as well. We tried to pay for 2 of the meals and the lady serving us said we make her unhappy and the food is good and she tried her best. I felt that my husband was so kind to her and trying to not make her feel bad but she flipped out saying she doesn’t want our money. She was very rude and we were surprised. We said thank you for everything even though she got most of our order wrong we just took it and she said we were ungrateful. This was super disappointing and we never have experiences like this so it was a lot. I just wouldn’t recommend bc the whole environment was disgusting and dirty and all the dishes and syrup container was unclean and tables were all dirty too.

Food was decent, the atmosphere could use a bit of updating. The menus posted on the Google maps dont match the total at the cash register. I ordered a gyro and small greek salad, with a water to drink. With the total of $17.66. Less the tip of course.

I’ve really enjoyed the lunch and dinner I’ve had here. (The hummus, in particular, has a slightly coarser texture than most. I enjoy it that way, and I’ve found it hard to come by other places.)

The service is consistently very friendly; my only critique in that domain is that the restaurant seems slightly understaffed, which can affect service speed. The atmosphere is perfectly fine–nothing particularly special, but clean and spacious with ample seating.

Overall, I definitely recommend for good Greek fare.

Fair. Not bad though. Mediocre.
I had the Original Gyros. Wifey and I are looking for Gyros as good as the ones we had in Chicago all the time.
Went at 11:30, only 5 other people there. No lunch crowd that’s for sure. No ambiance to speak of. Prices were very good.
Looked like 1 cook, 1 server.

I haven’t had good Greek food since I moved from San Diego to Bentonville. Each dish I had was as good or even a little better than I was used to! I will definitely be eating there again and telling other people about it as well.

Started our lunch with the three dip appetizer and it was delicious. I had a falafel sandwich and my husband got the gyro platter. Both were great and we left happy and satisfied!

Delicious Greek food!! The gyros and spanakopita are delicious. Their breakfast is pretty solid, too.
