I wrote a positive review for this restaurant on Yelp six months ago, and after revisiting it last night, I was even more impressed. The lovely waitress Esmeralda, who served me three months ago, still remembered me ,so professional and thoughtful! Her service was as attentive and warm as ever, and she even kindly recommended some new dishes, which were absolutely delicious.

It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant was packed on Sunday night; five of the tables were occupied by birthday parties during my meal, creating a wonderful atmosphere! This speaks volumes about its quality. A restaurant that’s always full must have top-notch service and food. Highly recommended, this restaurant will definitely not disappoint!

Fantastic spot for some wonderful authentic Mexican cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by the Chile Relleno, which was prepared in a way that I have never experienced before. Friendly and attentive staff and ice cold beer. Will return again!

I was instantly captivated by this place because of the chairs – they’re exactly the same style as my grandparents’! As soon as I stepped inside, it felt like I’d entered a cozy family room with warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere. I couldn’t wait to see the dishes that my grandma makes so frequently. I tried the fish tacos and enchiladas, the tortillas were fresh and the flavors were spot-on. The chips and salsa were absolutely perfect ! I was blown away by how quickly all the food came out. Overall, this place is a great spot for a fun and delicious meal.

Prices very high for Mexican, but quality of food is mediocre to low. I had chicken mole. To my dismay, the mole was bland. Mole should not be bland unless it’s been diluted, stored poorly or incompetently prepared. The dish came with corn tortillas, which were served warm and moist, but when taken out of the basket, smelled like a caterer’s steam table, not corn tortilla. This is not the way to hold food for service in a restaurant dish that costs more than $25. My wife had fish tacos. She received two small street tacos for over $20. One of the two tacos hardly had any fish in it. Theirm Margarita, which seems to be lime Kool-Aid with a shot of un-named tequila is $15. No thank you.

Had an amazing experience, we had a large party and the service was amazing! The waitress and the waiters went out the way to keep are drinks filled, make sure food was good, and any other accommodations that were needed they took care of.

One of my go-to Danville spots. Delicious, fresh food and a lovely happy hour. I’m a big fan of the salsa and always take some home. Valeria does a great job taking care of the table. She pays attention to any finicky orders and moves quickly.

I actually stumbled onto Cielito while driving through Danville and noticed it as we passed by. Since that first visit, we have returned several times and it is always delightful. The service is excellent, even when busy, and I think the food is great. For larger parties, reservations are a must, especially on weekends.
I can’t recommend one specific dish since everything I’ve tried is very good though I haven’t dug too deep into the drink menu yet. I’m sure those are good too.
One particular night we went with a large group of friends and I told the waiter I didn’t want to be weird, but I thought he smelled really good. I guess just telling him made it weird but he didn’t ask me to leave so that is a win.

My wife and I sat at the bar as the place was packed. We were told it was reservations only at the moment, so the place is definitely popular on a Friday night. We ordered the street tacos and pozole. The pozole was delicious and hearty. The tacos were also tasty and filling. The pozole was so much better than the last time I had eaten here and commented this to our server. A new chef has brought more spice and discipline in the dishes being made which has resulted in delicious dishes. For dessert my wife and I had tres leches cake, churros and coffee. All were scrumptious and as sweet as heaven. I will definitely start coming here more often.
