I ordered the lamb ribs and they were outstanding, especially with the mushrooms. My friends chose the ribeye with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, which quickly became our favorite dish, and the filet mignon, which was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly.
We tried a couple of desserts, including their signature “David,” which looked impressive, but the Napoleon truly stood out, light, crispy, and perfectly balanced with the cream.
Such a great experience overall. Definitely coming back.
I ordered the steak and eggs along with wine, and everything was excellent—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and well presented. My friend ordered the Caesar salad, stuffed crepes, and a couple of drinks, all of which she enjoyed very much. The wine, mocktails, and atmosphere were fantastic, and our waiter provided outstanding service. He was attentive, professional, and truly took great care of us.
For dessert, I ordered the chocolate cake and my friend ordered the honey cake. We tried the honey cake first, and it was absolutely divine—perfectly balanced and delicious. Unfortunately, when we tasted the chocolate cake, it was not good at all. The texture was extremely dry and tasted stale, almost like a cracker. We had only taken a small taste (as shown in the photo) when we let our waiter know.
The waiter kindly said he would speak with the manager. When the manager came over, her response was very disappointing. She leaned in and told us that the cake was “supposed” to taste that way and said she would not replace it with another dessert, stating that we had already eaten part of it. We explained that it’s impossible to know whether you like a dessert without tasting it, and that we had only taken a minimal bite.
Initially, she did everything she could to avoid exchanging the dessert, repeatedly saying they “don’t do that here.” Eventually, she agreed to replace it, but added that “next time we won’t do this,” which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming.
This was especially disappointing because everything else—the food, drinks, service, and ambiance—was excellent. It’s a fine dining establishment, where customer service should match the quality of the food, and unfortunately the manager’s attitude did not.
We will be returning because this experience alone isn’t enough to keep us away, but I truly hope management addresses this issue. A simple, gracious response would have turned a small problem into a great ending instead of leaving a sour note on an otherwise lovely meal.
Napoleon cake 100000/10 must try!
Beautiful place for dinner w family or romantic date.
Service was friendly and the place has a great vibe. You can tell they care about quality and presentation. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
