It was busy so the food came out as fast as it could. Staff were friendly and place was clean. The tacos were the stars, crunchy and tasty. Burritos were good as well as the enchiladas. The reaper sauce wasn’t too bad (not too hot as well) but the hot and green chili sauces were good. Lots of food for about $15.

I have never been to this Taco Tico but after an appointment I wanted to go to have a Taco and bean and cheese burritos. We dined in and I was super impressed on the very modern upbeat look of the restaurant. Everything was super clean and the employee’s were friendly and helpful. I had the Taco and 2 bean and cheese burritos while Linda had a Taco salad and Coke. It was just what I expected and I was not disappointed. The burritos temperature plenty hot enough that I had to eat my Taco first. I totally love the green chilies sauce that as you eat more of it the heat builds and was so good. By the time I had finished my food I could practically breath fire out of my nose and ears. Linda said she was pleased with her Taco salad and that she hadn’t been to a Taco Tico since she was a kid and that the shell her salad came in was just right. I would definitely eat here again.

Taco Tico has very good Mexican food; especially for a fast food restaurant. It is also appreciated that you can go inside and order/eat; whereas, it is often hard to get counter service at a lot of fast food restaurants as they devote their help to drive-thru customers.

Coming back from Salina and the Boz Scaggs concert we had to stop here, our 1st time at this location. We order a taco burger, a beef sancho and order of refried beans to eat there. We then get 5 taco burgers, 5 sanchos and 5 refried beans to take home (SE Ks) to freeze and eat when we’re hungry for the Tico. We get all with Reaper sauce. The crew there took great care of us and I thanked them for making my nose run.

I haven’t eaten Taco Tico is about 14 years. Until the other day I was shopping on the East side of Wichita and seen a Taco Tico. I’ve always liked their Taco Burgers. I am not sure if they have changed the recipe a little bit, but it kinda taste like it was different. In a better way. I enjoyed it! I’ll definitely be back!

Update 01/28/25 ☆ I can’t tell you it’s gotten better. Just the opposite. I decided to try it one last time. And it’s worse than the other times. Complete rip off. I ordered a meat lovers quesadilla. Now most people would think that came with like chicken and maybe steak or something. Yeah no. It came with beans and some freaking taco meat not even any cheee that I could taste or find (I’ll post the pictures). How in any situation is that a meatlovers quesadilla? $6 for a less than I would get if I ordered a combo burrito. And cheaper money for a combo burrito! Don’t waste your time this place is ridiculous.
Update: 3/16/22 ☆☆ Drive through was ridiculously long, but the girl was nice..food is still mediocre at best…combo burrito was still good even though there was barely any filling in it…and don’t waste your time with the “super deluxe nachos” NOTHING like the picture on the menu!. It’s just some stale chips with a glop of refried beans a teaspoon of beef and some green onions, a few tomatoes and jalapenos and a little plop of sour cream no guacamole…totally NOT worth the price of $4.99…third visit and more than likely the last…I’ll stick with Taco Shop.
Update: 3/2/22 …☆☆☆ Drive thru is better, but they REALLY need to drain the beef before they make the food…soooo much grease it soaked through the taco shell and ran down my arm…yuck, that went In the trash. Combo burrito was good.

Monster line around the building and cars don’t/can’t pull up so to keep asking to take my order when I am 5 feet from the speaker because “your headset tells you to” is ridiculous. Look out the window. If we haven’t moved then I’m still waiting. I will tell you when I am able to get close enough.
