10/10 overall experience, one of the best “dinner out of home” I’ve had. From the start of walking in the door, the hostess was kind and conversational. I seldomly order dessert after dinner; I’m glad I did at Amsterdam. Started off with the duck and pork pâté and finished off with a delicious rhubarb gelato. Server was very attentive, it was a perfect setting for a date night. I do recognize the check was given to us while still enjoying our dessert and coffee, a bit of a turnoff but may have just been due to the time.

It is one of the best places to brunch . It has indoor and outdoor seatings , with an amazing bar . Staff is very friendly and courteous. There is a lot of parking available on the street or you can park at rhinebeck Public Parking, which is almost 2 to 5 min walk . We ordered shakshuka , croque monsieur , eggs Benedict, and amsterdam burger. All their dishes were delicious and mouth watering .

I took my fiancé here for her birthday dinner and it was a great time. Ambiance is really the best with a view into the kitchen and tables spaced far enough apart to insure an intimate experience.
All of the food was delicious and fresh. They need to open a location in Portland Maine because this is really top tier! Our server was attentive and kind as well. The restaurant even printed special menus that said happy birthday on them. 10/10

I couldn’t find a single thing to dislike about this restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is amazing. And the food. Every element on the plate was perfection. Even the fries with the burger, which we tend to think of as an afterthought, were delicious. The shining star on the table though, was the cassoulet. Duck confit, wild boar sausage, crispy pork belly over a flavorful bean stew. Easily in the top 5 dishes I’ve ever eaten out.

Love this place ! The vibe is just right!! The food was amazing! It’s Farm-to-table concept really translate to great food. The service was very friendly. I love that after eating you can grab some neat and cool things to buy in the market on the first floor. I highly recommend this place. It’s just steps away from the main Rhinebeck strip!

One of best meals I’ve had. Really fresh farm to Table. This is 5+ stars. Sometimes I give 5 stars to places, but after this meal – I realized I need to raise my standards. Autumn salad was amazing, chicken dish outstanding. Only slight disappointment was that Brussels were deep fried, but I ate them regardless. U can see they are pretty charred in the photo I posted, but they were OK.

This was one of the BEST culinary experiences I have had in a long time. The servers worked in perfect harmony to create an experience that embodied the meaning of hospitality. On top of the service, the food was delectable, well portioned, beautifully plated and locally sourced. Please do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Their menu is seasonal but I recommend the ricotta & chorizo for starters.

We happened to be in Rhinebeck just for the day, we had a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the owner, Fletcher, popped by to say hi and we chatted with him for a bit, what a great guy!
We tried their charred lemonade (with vodka), what a tasty and refreshing drink!!! We wanted more but I assume they pre-made the lemonade, totally ok, we found different drinks that we enjoyed as well.
We started with the House Made Charcuterie Board, everything in it was delicious including all the garnishes that came with it. The bread was crunchy and soft, delicious!
For brunch we went with the Eggs Benedict (with bacon) and the Shakshuka, we loved both dishes, the tomato sauce in the Shakshuka was delicious.
It is so worth the drive (2.5hr drive from us) just for the food!

As a local, I love dining at The Amsterdam in Rhinebeck. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is impeccable. I recently tried the new scallops on the menu, and they were outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. The beverage selection is top-notch, perfectly complementing the meal. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience.
