Great place for authentic Pakistani food in the Richmond, VA area! Generous portions — I especially loved the Beef Seekh Kabobs and fresh traditional Naan’s. Everything is confirmed halal. The best part? They have a designated prayer area, which is a thoughtful touch. Definitely recommend it! The Karahi looked amazing too — will try it next time.

##Update after third Visit## 5 stars to 2. I ordered 2 lamb, two chicken and two spinach sides. I was overcharged $12 when I pointed this out I was told the prices on THEIR website were wrong and that the owner had increased the prices $3 on everything. That’s a 25% increase. He wound up refunding one of the kabobs. I was extremely disappointed in the food. First I was told 20 min. It took 36 min and I was the only one in the place. Several of the pieces of chicken were so rubbery they were inedible. The lamb while seasoned excellent was not nearly as tender as the first time I was there. It was dry and tough to chew. The spinach was excellent. Overall this place has lost my business.
Upon first impressions I thought I had made a huge mistake stopping in. Even though they opened 20 min. before I arrived I entered and entered and thought they were closed. A gentleman came to the counter and we absolutely could not communicate. Luckily another employee arrived and was able to explain how things worked and I placed my order. The #10.
The food was outstanding. I mean really really good. The chicken and lamb were insanely tender. An explosion of flavor with just the right heat (I like things on the spicy side). The spinach side was outstanding but the salad and chicken peas left much to be desired.
Be aware this place is all about the food. You’re served in Styrofoam with the cheapest plastic ware money can buy. It’s super bright florescent lights make the hope of any sort of ambiance impossible.
All that being said I still gave it 5 stars because the food made up for it.

I ordered a Chapli Kebab combo last night for home. Since then, everyone at home has been going to the toilet frequently, and one of us had severe gas issues, which only came under control after taking gas relief tablets. Maybe it’s not a healthy item for everyone.

Loved their chicken and beef kabobs combo. It came with rice, naan, cholay and salad on the side. It was yummy. I just wished the chicken was a bit more tender as it was very hard to chew other than that I have no complains!

Lentils (Daal) & Spinach (Palak) were complimentary with Combo platters but at some spot i felt they taste even good then the main entree itself.
Flavor or Grilled BBQ is acceptable, not much salty thankfully but neither spicy.
Entire Menu is Halal & Traditionally South Asian.

The customer service was amazing the 1st & 2nd visit. This will be a new weekly on my family’s list of take out places. The food was cooked to order and tasted delicious. The owner even let us sample some other menu items when I mentioned this is my first time eating Pakistan Cuisine. I wasn’t used to the get up and get your food from the counter and clear the table when your done thing they had going on though.
